Long story short, they got the Lake Hylia battle to end. Got a messanger hawk sending them to Death mountain.
They stopped on the way in Kakariko and got a Ruby from Eldin, as well as some more back story for Kasuto.
Kain also meet an older man named Geoffrey R. after attempting to pick-pocket him.
They went up death moutn, wrastled Gorons all the while. Kasuto convienced a very young Darunia that the King wanted to be his brother after a riveting night of song and dance. And they gave them the ruby under the promise that the Gorons would begin building the Hylian army's armor and weapons.

After coming down, they were GREATLY disturbed to find that the village had been destroyed by the enemy army, much to Asia's grief having hopes of using them to her advantage.
Kastuo threw an emotional charged, anime styled, almost Sasuke like hissy and required both a firm talking to and gentle reassurance to carry on. This was spurred on upon discovering his older sister Impa was still alive.

After a visit to the castle, everyone got to meet the Commander's new born son who was named for his father. Feeling better about the future, they were sent to the Forest to ask for the Forest Spirit's blessing. Though it took a while to get through the maze of the Lost Woods, eventually they got there, met with Faron, met with the Kokiri, and finally met with the Great Deku Tree. They gave him the Emerald Faron gave them, and cemented a strong friendship.

With that, upon returning to the castle once more, the Sages appeared and revealed that we had been seperating the keys to a lock they had just crafted. A magic lock that would seal the Triforce and the Sacred Realm from evil hands. However, the lock took time to close, and we pretty much had to guard the sages in the recently built Temple of Time as they did this.
It WOULD have been an easy job had the enemy not broken through the wall and laid seige to the Hylian castle.
Needless to say, the commander died on the battle field hoping that his son would carry on his legacy, handing over a blade he called the Skyward Sword to which ever of us happened to be closest. This sword was to be used as the final seal on the lock.

OOOOOFFFF course! Ganondorf had other plans, wanting to bring his people out of the desert and into the land Lord Hyrule was slowly unifying! And, as the only one actually in the temple watching over the sages, he began to execute them all one by one. But then! Kasuto walked in! Holding the Skyward Sword of Masters! Yay! And they locked in epic struggle! Whoo! AAAAAANNNDDD Ganondorf kicked his ass to the sacred realm and back... BUT! With his final dieing breath! Kasuto succesfully placed the Master Sword in the pedestal of time. Locking it from Ganondorf's grasp... ( T^T)9 What a soldier.

Well, everyone else walked in just in time to see Ganondorf mourning over his failure...wait...did I say failure? I meant the loss of his dear friend Kasuto!
After that, the enemy army was finally repeled and with the combined might of the Hylian, Zora, Gerudo, and Goron (as well as the remaining Shiekah, the Kokiri's blessings, a little Minish magic, and some freaky bird people's tech) they were completely beatin with in a couple month's time.
The land was united under King Hyrule's name, and the group of heroes were forever honored in legend.
At least...untill Ganondorf tried for a second attempt.
