Hyrule Field's 1st Annual Ball

Daltus was getter madder and madder by the second. "You are supposed to order those..." he grimaced.

The male Sheikah walked up to the table, and towered over everyone with his impressive height. "Hey." He said cooly.

Yukari had bumped into Ankh when restocking her plate.

"I'm sorry." She said putting one hand over her mouth to cover her mischevious smile before closing the rift as she said it.

"Whao. Wait." Ankh scurried quickly, catching the shrimp like something out of a cartoon. He laughed, "It's ok. Cat like reflexes." And knelt down to pick up his hat. He noticed the guy come over and smiled, moving to stand beside him. "Your almost as tall as Nii-san. I'm going to stand by you. Oh, I'm Ankh."

Daltus was having too many problems on that night. He got a small plate of food, sat at his table, alone, and ate.

"Hey Ankh. I'm Soven." He said. He had a remarkably deep voice.

Link waved to the Sheikah. Then looked at Zelda and Malon. "Well, it's a Ball. You're supposed to dance... any takers?"

"I'd love to dance." Angel said, scooting ever-so-closer to Link.

Ankh turned red and pulled down his hat parcully to try and hide his blush. "His voice is so deep and pretty. Like Chi-san." He mummbled to himself. He quickly recovered his cool and laughed, grabbing Link's arm and spun him as he ran out on the floor. "He's right you know."

"Whoa!" Link got spun with Angel clinging to him. He and she went flying and knocked Malon and zelda over. They went skidding into the middle of the floor.

Link nonchantly acted like it didn't happen, and didn't pay attention that he continued dancing with Ankh.

"What in the world just happened?" Angel thought as she got up. She looked around and saw Link dancing with Ankh. She sighed.

Soven helped Zelda and Malon get up. "You two ok?" he asked.

"We're fine," They said in unison as they got up, then they began laughing at Link.

Link didn't pay much attention, he couldn't hear them easily over the ruckuss around them. He guessed they were laughing at his stale dance moves.

Ankh laughed, being dipped Link, "You didn't look like the kind of guy that would be light on his feet." Ankh said. It wasn't often he met someone shorter then him AND was a guy. He spun Link with one hand and grabbed his shirt. "But seriously." He undid Link's top button or two and fixed his coller, Taking the flower from his pink vest and putting it in Link's front pocket. "Loosen up slightly k? You woin't dance so stiffly then." He smiled brightly and started to dance, skip, run sorta away, "Ask one of those girls! You'll have plenty of dance partners!"

Lumeste looked up and saw who Link was dancing with. She giggled insanely, then grabbed Angel's hand.

"Wha-" Angel started to say, but Lumeste cut her off.

"Come on, all what I want to do is dance." She said, and the two started to dance.

(Ed, Al *human* and Winry's ball venture...)

Edward trailed behind Winry in humiliation. He'd never been to a party like this, whereas Winry was ecstatic about dressing like a yuppie and dancing with some random, pompous jerk dressed the same way. She was wearing a white dress with thin straps and silver trim, a rose in her hair and a silver bracelet she made herself, along with silver shoes. Her long blonde hair was down, with thin braids lining her forehead.
Ed was less than unprepared. he was wearing a white button-up shirt with a black tie and an unbuttoned black tuxedo jacket. his suit pants were snug at the waist and short around his ankles, but he still wore a belt. he wore white socks, black loafers and his military gloves.
Alphonse was slightly better. he had on a black vest with a bow tie and gray button-up shirt, new tux pants, a top hat and his black boots.
"I still have no clue why you dragged me to this thing", Ed groaned. "I hate this suit. why couldn't you have just brought Al?"
"Look", Winry replied. "Both of your names were on the invitation, as well as mine. so what if it's not your thing, it would be rude. besides, all our friends are gonna be there, so we won't be alone."
"She's right, Ed", Alphonse said in support. "No need to be worried. Besides, i cant dance either."
"EXCUSE ME?!", Ed replied. "why the hell would that even be an issue?! it's not like i'm gonna do anything anyway. i'm just gonna go in, examine the place, say hi to link and everyone else, grab a handful popcorn shrimp and blow the f*ck outta there."
Winry stomped on his foot in annoyance.
"AAAAAAOOOOOOOOOWWW!!!!!" He exclaimed. "Son of a b i t c h, why the hell did you DO thaaaat?!?!?!"
"Don't be a jerk, Ed" she replied. "If i catch you trying to ditch, you'll be nursing something even MORE painful!!!"
Ed got her drift. her painfully explanatory drift.
They approached the door. Winry did the honor of showing the usher the invitation and walking in first. They were immediately picked out by the group, already dancing...

Soven noticed them walk in and went over to them. "Hi." He said, accidentally standing right beside Ed. The height difference was astounding.

Link face turned red in embarassment. Then he smiled, and grabbed Zelda by her hand and began dancing with her with a lively dance.

Malon frowned, but guessed she'd be next to dance with Link. That... or Angel.

Link noticed Ed at the enterance. He shouted to him, "Ed! Long time no see!" He spun zelda around. She squealed in delight as they began a tango.

"Come on!" "Ankh. I've never danced!" Menroe exclaimed, being dragged from Silver's group and over to the other. "That is Goku, and Link, and zelda and Malon and the really tall on over there is Sovren and.." Menroe covered his mouth. "Calm down." She crossed her left arm across her chest and bowed "I'm Menroe. Ankhs' friend and.." "And we are going to dace!!" The guardian dragged the drgaonmaster not far from the group and they both blushed. "Should I lead or you?" He asked.

Soven went to Malon. "Care for a dance?" He asked, trying to make himself sound smooth, but his voice cracked slightly.

Malon smiled, and took his hand, and danced with him.

Soven tried to dance the best he could, but sometimes stepped on Malon's feet.

Ed looked up at the three foot height difference to the guys face.
"Holy sh*t" Ed thought to himself. "Where do they GROW people like this guy, SWEDEN?!"...
"Um, hi. Name's Edward. Edward Elric. This is my brother Alphonse and my friend, Winry." He held out his hand for a handshake, afraid of needing automail for that arm afterward.

He noticed link and everyone else.
"Hey, dude!", he responded. He saw link's formal green tux and chuckled slightly.
"Nice tux, man. You even kept that hat on." he gestured to Winry, too distracted by everything else to hear. "She made he wear this."

Thw two finally figured out to let Menroe try and lead. No feet stepping here though, thanks to Ankh. "Hey. See the guy with all the tails. I sware I've seen him before." The neko narrowed his eyes. "They are really pretty." Menroe agreed and noticed two woman dancing together. If only home was that open." "SPIN ME!!" Ankh yelled and Menroe did, letting him go and he stumble over his feet and facefloored at the new arrivals feet.

Lumeste and Angel stopped dancing. "That was nice, thank you." Angel said with a smile. Lumeste returned the smile. "No problem!" She walked over to Ed and his friends. "Hi." She said.

Angel walked to a corner of a room, and then changed to Pixie, who started flying around everywhere.

Malon spun up to Link, and did a raspberry in his ear as she spun away.

Link turned around, confused, and realised it was her, then he chuckled.
