The Legend of Zelda: Droplet of Light RP

Link woke up laying on top of Kevin. He heard Nova's question.

"I slayed him because he was threatening my people. So, I had no choice."

"I see..." Nova said "But tell me, have you ever heard of the tribe that lived in Hyrule Feild?" Nova went on.

"Which tribe?" Link asked.

"The tribe that were peace-loving, eaily distincted as the last laguz tribe in all of hyrule, the tribe of kitsunes" Nova said. "Have you ever heard of the tribe?"

"I have not..." Link replied.

"It doesn't surprize me... it's been said to be extinct for 1,000 years." Nova sad in an angry manor. "But, the tribe itself isn't extinct.... since I'm the sole-survivor of the tribe... more importently, the prince of a dead tribe."

"Look, Nova," Link said. "I'm not here to harm you. Neither was Larsen. We both were here to stop that main source of darkness, Veran."

Kevin woke up and stood up after crawling out from under Link. "Why, Nova? I thought we could trust you..."

"Stay out of this, Kevin. Larsen knew nothing of Nova before."

"I Know Veran is the main enemy, whitch is why I won't execute you here." Nova said. "But when this is all over...." Nova had then warped them into hyrule feild before finishing his statemeant.

"What will he do when this is over?" Kevin asked.

"I will not be here to see the celebration when Veran is defeated. All I can do is hope that Veran will revive Vaati, and I can somehow manage to keep him in line."

"What do you mean, you won't be here?"

"Heroes aren't needed during peacetime. When peace returns to Hyrule, that is when Larsen will awake once more more, and I will no longer follow him. I will simply roam the lands for another 100 years before I reincarnate to fight any evil coming near again."

Kevin looked into the sky. It began to rain. "When will I be useful? All I've been is dead weight so far." He looked over at Link.

"Eventually, I'll need you to find a temple in Lost Woods. But be careful: There's an abyss in there that leads you to either a lost, forgotten world, or your death."

A bolt of lightning was going to strike Kevin until Nova warped in, and abosrbed it into his tail for fuchure thunder magic. "Kevin, you really shouldn't get too used to having Link around since what he says is true. I've seen it happen several times during the last 900 years."

"Kevin. Go to Lost Woods in the Kokiri Forest. The Deku Tree will surely recognise you as a hero's sidekick, and he should allow you to enter. Find the Forest Temple. And take this with you." Link handed him the Hookshot. "Equipped as you are, you wouldn't even be able to get near the enterance. While you are in the forest, I'll be explaining to Clyde and Jacob what is going precisely, and Larsen's whereabouts."

"Where is Larsen, anyway?" Kevin asked as put the Hookshot into his pocket.

"Larsen is inside the Chamber of Sages. Him and I switched positions. Now, his body is in a magical, deep sleep in the Chamber. You cannot reach it, it can only be reached by the me, the Hero of Time, and my incarnations. Now go, Kevin. Make haste, for we need the sage within the forest to be awakened, and channel her power to us."

Kevin ran off as fast as he could. "You can count on me, Link!"

"Now, Nova, I do not know how to solve your problem with Vaati's passing, perhaps I should... I got an idea."

Kevin had entered Lost Woods, and he took a stroll. He made sure that the Deku Scrubs and Skullchildren did not distract him. Suddenly, after jumping up on some steps and through a tunnel, the ground gave way, and Kevin fell down the very abyss that Link warned him off.

There's an abyss in there that leads you to either a lost, forgotten world, or your death. your death.... your death.... your death...your death.

All Kevin could see was Veran laughing. She then waved her arms above her head, summoned a big black cloud, and threw it at him. Now, Mad Scrubs surrounded him. He got up and ran (in his soul), but they caught up, anyway. Soon, he was engulfed by a single one's leaves. All he could feel was pain. It felt like something was condensing him to nearly 1/4 of his size, and hardening his skin. His nose and mouth began to hurt, too, but soon he didn't feel them at all.

He woke up, and looked around as he stood up. He had certainly shrunk. He looked in the water nearby him. A Deku Scrub looked back up at him.

As Kevin went hysteric, Veran, who had been there the whole time, laughed even harder. "Finally, this should be an eye-opener for that cursed 'Hero'! This is what he gets for trying to rebel against me!" She opened a portal above herself, and juymped into it.

"Wait!!" Kevin shouted as he attmepted to run to the portal. Since he wasn't used to this yet, he tripped over his big feet and landed on his chin. He got up, and ran again, but by the time he was about to try to jump, the portal closed.

He fell to his knees. Then he spotted a big door nearby. He walked up to it, and used all of his might to open it. when he walked through, he found himself inside the world of Termina. He had entered the Clock Tower.

"All I know is that Veran will have many minions, and I'm sure Vaati will be one of them... but for now, I'm not sure if i should stay in Hyrule, or go to Termina and search for him." Nova said. "Warping to Termina isn't that hard for me eather since my harp was made out of the same material as your ocarina."

"If you can warp us both to Termina, that would be great. Chances are, he has found his way into Termina... I no longer sense his presence in Hyrule." Link said. He pulled out the Ocarina of Time that Larsen had used before.

"I can't warp two people with my harp alone, but with your ocarina we should be able to get there safely to Termina Feild." Nova said as he readied his harp to play the song of soaring. "Shall we be off?" he said before playing it and warping to Termina Feild.

Link nodded. He played the Song of Soaring, and warped to Clock town, where he waited for Nova.

Nova walked up to link after he relized they were warped to different places. "I'm still wondering where Kevin could've gotten to." Nova said. "Hopefully he didn't die on the trip."

"I still sense his presence," Link said. "He's bound to be around here."

Kevin poked his head out from bush, and darted across the laundry pool's bridge, and climbed a leafy tree, where he sat and hid. Little did he know Link was nearby.

"I'll climb around the trees for a bird's eye veiw while you search here on the ground." Nova said before jumping into a nearby tree.

Kevin fell out of the tree when Nova jumped into it. The second he saw Nova, he made a quick run for it. Link caught him, though.

"Is that you, Kevin?"

Kevin turned around. "Link, i'm sorry, I--"

"Veran did this to you, didn't she?"

"Yes! I'm sorry! I was out cold when she did this to me! I-- the look on your face changed. Is it you, Larsen?"

Indeed, Larsen had awoke for just a little, and Link was forced to sleep. "Kevin!!" Larsen shouted in horror, and picked up the young Deku Scrub, and shed a tear.

Nova had pickpocketed Tingle when no one was looking before going back to Link and Kevin. "So Larsen freed himself for a short time... but I can fix that..." Nova then pulled some dust from his pocket and blew it onto Larsen whitch made him fall asleep shortly afterwerds.

Kevin nervously paced around. "How do we plan to revert this?! I can't be like this forever!"

Link woke up, and got to his feet. "Veran struck once. She's bound to strike again, so we must be on our guard."

"Kevin, you'll need to see the great fairy. She's not very far from here." Nova said. "But we better hurry, Tingle will realize he just lost 60 rupees soon."

Anyway.

Link picked up Kevin. "Let's get you to that cave over there." He walked up a hill and into a nearby cave. Inside was the most beautiful fountain Kevin had ever seen. Kevin jumped out of Link's hands, walked up to the water, tripped, but reached it.

Suddenly, a Great Fairy flew out of the center of the fountain.

"Oh, Hero of time, and his young companion, allow me to heal you of your wounds, curses, and ailments..." She blew a kiss to Kevin, and a ray of light surrounded him. The light picked him up and made him hover in the air a bit. There was a large flash of light, and a mask fell to the ground.

"Thank god... Thank you, Great Fairy!" Link said. He walked up to Kevin, who had been fully cured and reverted. "Feel better now?"

"Better?! I feel greater than I ever have!"

Link smiled. "Let's get out of here."

"Ah.... how it's been ages since I've been to a great fairy spring. Link, Kevin, go grab some information in town, and meet me at the west gate." Nova said before he pulled out a bottle from his tail coat pocket*.

For the next hour, Link and Kevin went around, asking for information on what had been happening. Soon, they arrived at the West Gate, and met with Nova.

"Apparently, Veran's been sending minions this way as well. She's also planning to attack one more place, the Twilight Realm," Link told Nova.
