/My first pokemon game was Diamond when 4th gen came out. I never had a gameboy growing up. But I would say that by the time Platinum came out I was so excited.
But then I started getting the old gameboy games, like red and crystal. Those are extremely good too.
I would have to say it's a tie between B/W, HG/SS and the original gen 2's.
