Avalanche is a slow move. It does double the damage if the user is attacked first. Then NeverMeltIce gives Avalanche a power boost since it's an Ice-type attack.

Hm. I don't have a Pokemon with Fire-type moves. However, my Alakazam is beastly and can take an Aggron.

I skipped 4th gen entirely so I don't know what their typing is.

And I can bring down legendaries. Just have to have the right kind of strategy.

So long as I know their typing, yes, I can.

But it really annoys me when I battle against someone with a legendary on their team. They're cop-outs, because they're so powerful and have amazing stats by default, everyone wants to have one to slaughter their opponent. :/ There are people that have legendary teams which are their battle teams. It sucks the fun out of battling, imo.

-grins- True that. When I had my Kyogre, I only ever used him for a last resort. Now I do the same with my Blaziken. (not a legendary, but a lvl. 100 fire type still kicks ***)

I've never had a legendary in my true battle team in any Pokemon game I ever played. And I stick to that as my word. Yes, I did have legendaries in my team to battle with them and see what they were like and what they could do, but it was never a permanent resident of my team.
