Am I the only one who misses TRUE 2-D Zelda games? I mean, PH and ST were good...But they aren't true 2-D games...I want to see the return of Zelda in its original form!

For me, PH and ST are what I like to call, 2 1/2 D.
But yeah, I hear ya. Minish Cap was truly the last of its kind. Some of my fondest memories are of aLttP, LA, and the Oracle duo! I would love to see one or two throw back games. At least have the first Zelda upgraded to MC/FS graphics and released for DS Ware.

I mean come on! Megaman 9 and 10 just came out with in the past couple of years, and guess what? 8-bit baby! All the way! So what's stopping Nintendo from releasing something old school, right?

I mean I like and dislike the Bird's-eye view in LoZ, I didn't like it because all the areas are sometimes repeated.

I think they are going to more 3-d, going back would kinda kill purpose in a way, but then again, a remix wouldn't hurt, since they did do one for pac-man, why not for the Zelda series? Maybe a mix of both 3-d and 2-d?
