(KG Sequal) Festival of Promise

Chris begun to stand up as his hat had returned, he walked out of the lab as he dived into the water after taking a breath, now swimming back to the fortress Chris navigated to a observation area to look for where ever people were. He noticed some of the guards were completely astray from their duty or either dazed. The figure Known as Dawn approached behind Chris.

" Chris, why are you dressed like that?" She raised a brow.

Chris replayed dully " It fooled them."

Dawn sighed and opened up to say " it didn't fool me."

Chris snapped his fingers as Chris was in his assassin gear once again.He looked at Dawn as if he was discussed to see her. " You left me at the kingdom for it to be over thrown, my comrads killed, and you finally come to see me? I do not see you as a mother." Chris narrowed his brows.

Dawn looked at him as she felt intense guilt" I'm sorry... just your family and I have been busy, like you we are detectives. But I'm sorry you had to live with what you had." Her eyes seemed to flash somewhat.

Chris gazed at her a bit realizing she isn't what she appears but nodded knowing he cannot dispose of her himself.

"I don't think so!" exclaimed Greed at the site admin, "Nothings locked unless I say so! And as for you?" he looked down at the group prepared to fight him...

"It apparently has value to some one! Laaaaaater!" he flipped them the bird and jumped behind the out cropping, running off toward the Zora Hall as a speed that could never be called human.

Link looked at Greed, confused. He looked to the nearest member. "Why'd he just lift his middle finger at us? What does that mean? Doesn't matter, I guess. After him!" Link ran to his limits, using the Zora Mask when needed.

Gename started chasing after Greed, trying his best to not slip and fall into the water. Angel removed her mask, put on her Europa feathers, and let her wings grow to their normal size. She turned to Link.

"You don't want to know what that means. Seriously." she said, then took off after Greed, careful not to get too near him, so she wouldn't damage the egg he was carrying.

“Tch, stupid demon...” Robert muttered before he started to chase Greed. He wanted to fire a shock wave at him but didn't since he might hit the egg.

Dawn Grinned at Chris. " Why don't you become more then a Divine, maybe accept father's views?" Chris analyzed what was being said. " Me being dictated? I just came to a realization. You arn't my mother. Your-" Chris was afraid to say it.

Dawn chuckled with a wicked smile" Come on- say it my dear child. SAY IT!"

" YOUR NOT MY MOTHER! PART OF YOU IS! THE REST OF YOU IS A SICK CREATURE! WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH ME!?" Chris finished with anger and confusion.

Dawn smiled and said " When the time comes for us to fight- I want you to learn the Hymn of destruction. Obtain a moon's tear, only then will you take your true form- not like you want to be a homunculus.A superior being."

Chris clinched his fist. " You superior? What does it matter who is superior or not? We are all equal beings- scratch that. Most of us are, Your only upset because your rejected of that right. Slow and always last to act when ordered."

Dawn frowned somewhat " You'd say that to your own mother?"

Chris smiled triumphantly. " I'd never accept you as my mother. And I'd tell anyone that. Way of a assassin and a detective - always discard attachments on duty. I learned this the hard way. Only then that I learned I did not need to be attached or have friends to live, but to serve and protect - that's part of being Alive! I was thought to discard attachments! But I think I have friends for once! And I won't let you hurt them."

Dawn replied with a bit of anger " You talk bold for a kid. I'll let you be for now. But next time I see you- count on a rough time." She then faded into darkness. Her voice rang. " Your companions are chasing after a mighty being to zora hall - help them detective." She was laughing rather satanically.

Chris then hurried after them without a word.

*SPLASH!* Into the water Greed jumped, not even moving his legs anymore. And yet he continued to move, as if he was hovering in the water. Wait...no...he was infact standing on some kind of monster! A chimera, not quite man but not quite beast. He laughed out loud as he flew through the water without even so much as getting wet.

"Ya know!" he called back to the group as the distance between them grew, "On second though, I think I might stop at the lab over there first! Whatever some one is willing to pay to get ONE of these things back can only increase for every additional egg, right?" he continued to laugh as his chimera escort laughed too.

"Is... Is he helping us...?" Link asked quietly, not letting the surfing homunculus hear. He was slightly confused by this one. It made odd gestures and said weird things and did the opposite of what it said. Or that's what Link was interpreting it as.

Chris stepped fourth having enough distance. He spoke aloud to Greed " Why not just stop with this silly charade and just hand it over? If you want we can deal with you after the great bay is dealt with. I also have a few questions for you. I would like answers at that." Chris's eyes narrowed as he had his arms folded, he made eye contact directly with Greed. " What do you know about the one named 'Dawn' ?"

Gename created a force-field track on the water. Running at full speed wasn't getting him closer faster, so he took a second option. the thin layer of water on the force-field turned into some kind of slippery substance. Gename dove onto the track, and started sliding across! An interesting idea at most, but his speed didn't really improve.

Angel was pushing her wings to the limit of her speed. She had absolutely no way to go faster flying straight, and her back was starting to get tired, along with her wings. She turned to the side to increase her speed, but at the same time, she was flying at an angle and was quickly increasing her rate of decent. She took out Europa's Gilded Lance and had it ready, in the off-chance that she could come up with something to do as she flew.

Robert climbed onto a tall rock and jumped on Gename's force feild track and continued to run as fast as he could after Greed. Sure he was a fast runner but he still wasn't getting any closer. Suddenly the layer of water turned into a slippery substance he tried to keep his balance while running on it but fell flat on his chest.

"...Ouch..." He muttered. He slid the rest of his way on the track, catching up with Gename.

Greed hoped off the Chimera who seemed PRETTY dang tuckered out himself.

The homunculi laughed, "Sorry buddy! I have no clue who that is. Honestly!" he slipped into the lab, and began showing just how much fun he had making a mess of things.

"Well! I have 1 egg. And you 3! I'll be taking those off your hands for you... I'm sure the wonderful fish lady over in that giant rock will pay a PRETTY penny for these precious bundles of joy!"

The scientist protested, "You can't do that! They need to stay in very particular temperatures in order to hatch!"

Greed laughed yet again, "Well I'll be sure to tell her that!"

Gename slid his way over to the lab. He opened up the door. "You aren't a friend. Give the eggs back. Please. I don't want to hurt you but I will." He stood where he was, not wanting to egg on Greed. Angel made it finally, breathing hard. She stayed outside, just in case Greed decided to try and make a run for it.

Chris readied his Bow as it was a Silver and Sapphire beauty, The groves of it were different then just a regular bow, although there were no arrows present, Ice formed on the string as Chris took stance from the beach.

" Please, we do not have to fight. Don't make that poor women suffer anymore!" Chris said sounding rather concerned.

As soon as Robert made it to the lab he quickly jumped on his feet and ran inside and stood next to Gename. He glared at Greed as he put his hand on his sword's hilt. “All right demon, we can do this the easy way where you give us the egg and leave. Or the hard way...in which I'll show you what it's like to get hit with an enchanted weapon.” He said.

Greed slowly put his hands up. "Well! Looks like I'm cornered! Or am I?"

The man jumped up in to the air as high as he could, touching the ceiling easily. But as he came down, his whole body turned silver! CRASH! He fell clear through the floor and right into the water below!

Luckily he didn't get away with the egg. However something he said last minute was a little worrysome...

The voice echoed from the whole in bottom, "Good luck finding those last 3 eggs! You know of course, unless you can swim!"

Angel was knocked off of her feet when Greed smashed through the floor. She laid on the ground, breathing heavily. "Kyaaaa! I haven't been this exhausted since the war. She looked at the Zora mask. "Ready for another go, Mikau?"

Gename looked at the hole. Right next to it was the egg that they had almost lost. He picked it up tenderly and placed it in the tank. "Will it be healthy now?" He asked Robert.

"Oh well... I'm sure I'll get another chance." Nova said as he stepped through a skeleton door that was on the wall. "Wait... This is sideways, and I'm standing on the wall... this doesn't make sense." He added before he face planted onto the ground with his ponytail falling right onto his head forcing it back into the metal flooring. He then stood back up and noticed a reflection in the fish tanks.

"This'll make up for it!" He said before he ran over, and started to do fabulous poses in front of the tank, and scaring the fish within it.

Robert nodded. “Yeah, it'll be just fine now it's in fresh water.” He said before he noticed Nova doing poses in front of the fish tanks and slapped his forehead with the palm of his hand. He had the biggest unamused “wtf” face that could surpass anyone’s.

This RP has gotten nearly nowhere in the span of a year. It's a shame, I had plans for it. But oh well.
