Master Quest! I got it for T-kun for his birthday (Your friendship increased by 4!). It's an uber harder version of OoT.

Re: Best Zelda Game
MM for me! I got it yesterday, but I love on how strictly it follows the plot. OoT was great, but I think it could have had more plot and storyline, and MM has great characters, that are not important but make the game awesome! And the Happy Mask Salesman and Skull Kid have always been some of my favorite characters, along with Vaati and Midna (I guess I like dark characters ) so I guess I was born to like it XD

Re: Best Zelda Game
Um yeah, many people can make a good arguement that Wind Waker is the best.... just put that on ASAP.
I don't know.
For me, the funnest and most intricate was Ocarina of Time.
The most immense and sucks-you-in was Twilight Princess.
The most intuitive and innovative, was either Wind Waker or Spirit Tracks (I'd go with Wind Waker since the train in Spirit Tracks is slightly more annoying, but not much).
I'll go with Twilight Princess since I spent the most time on that (92 hours).

Re: Best Zelda Game
I would definitly choose Master Quest if the original Ocarina was as challenging as that, but since it's just an expansion it doesn't count. It would've made OoT more immersive, but in a cheap way, while Twilight Princess immersed you in both a psychological and gameplay-wise way.LinkZeldaFan4 wrote:The Master Quest is awesome.

Re: Best Zelda Game
I voted for Twilight Princess! It's dark and detailed graphics mixed with the intense storyline made it a no brainer
Re: Best Zelda Game
Speaking off. Started replaying it. Took me about 9 hours to get through all three dungeons as a kid. I am disappoint. I mean, its not fair though. Spiders and jellyfish kept falling on my face and killing me! And in Jabu's belly I like got stuck somehow under one of those big red things that you freeze with the boomerang and fell into the twilight zone or something!
Why am I sucking at this game so much now XD

Re: Best Zelda Game
Some people might say that Wind Waker is the most childish Zelda game, but when you get down to it, it's actually really dark. For one, the Great Sea is flooded Hyrule, technically making it a post-apocalyptic world. Ganondorf has matured from a power-hungry extremist into a pure evil, clever villian. He may have even wiped out whatever civilization was on Greatfish Isle only days before Link arrives there. But the worst part was only figured out once we got the information from Skyward Sword, so there are spoilers here. After Skyward Sword, Fi was sealed into the Master Sword. When the Master Sword's power is drained by Ganondorf, Fi is technically dying. Based on all this, I think Wind Waker shouldn't be criticized by the fandom, as it is possibly darker than Twilight Princess. No offense, but I see Twilight Princess's graphics as another fantasy stereotype, another example that all realistic video games for some reason have to be colored in shades of brown. I still like it, but Wind Waker is very detailed when you think about. TV Tropes would call it a "Crapsaccharine World" or a happy world with a very dark secret, which makes it a secret hell, comparable to, say, Sunnyside Daycare Center in Toy Story 3. It's cute-looking, but kind of a black comedy similar to Courage The Cowardly Dog or Invader Zim.

Re: Best Zelda Game
Oh I always knew it was pretty dark, even when I was younger. I mean, Ganon does get stabbed in the freaking head at the end. Though I wasn't aware of the controversy when it came out. And obviously everyone who critiqued it at first changed their minds when they played it, because now it's most everyone's first or second favorite Zelda.

Re: Best Zelda Game
Yeppers. Also, I forgot to mention, Wind Waker has the most jump scares of all games in the series. Sure, Twilight Princess's got the Civil War cutscene and Blizzeta, but those are both only one-time things. Seahats, Redeads, Big Octos, the Ghost Ship...just try NOT to be scared by those guys in this game. Especially at night.
And lastly, the one thing that makes Wind Waker the darkest of all. The bright, happy graphics are not a sign that the world is happy, not at all. The reason everything is so cheery is because everyone is secretly afraid another disaster will happen, so they have to try their best to keep happy all the time. Unfortunately, you can't really do that when there's monsters, storms, and death around every corner. The people of the Great Sea are taunting the old Hyrule by being happy, but they refuse to realize that the old kingdom is back for revenge, bringing with it the series's most scary and pure evil version of Ganondorf throughout each and every Zelda. Not even Twilight Princess's Ganondorf could hope to be as evil as a man who spent hundreds of years trapped underwater, slowly planning a better, eviler scheme...
Also, did I mention that this game's Link is a twelve-year-old kid? It would be amazing if he made it out of this game without some kind of mental trauma.

Re: Best Zelda Game
Master Quest is the best of them all XD. Yes, it's hard, but it forces you to use doors you wouldn't in the original. The only thing that agrivates me is in Ganon's tower, I always forget how to get the golden gloves.

Re: Best Zelda Game
I'm totally stuck in the Master Quest Fire Temple. I have all the dungeon items, the compass, the map, the boss key, the hammer...
HOW DO I SMASH PILLAR.
Actually. Lemme phrase that better.
HOW DO I FIRE TEMPLE.
I told myself though, I WILL beat Master Quest with no help. So I guess I'm just ranting.
Or maybe I'll lighten the burden of this goal.

A lot of the Fire Temple in MQ has to go with fire torches and Din's Fire. XD
