Call of Duty: Your opinions on it?

I personally think that this series is one of the better FPS's. Favorite game is Black ops because it adds the zombies as well as cod. What do you guys think?

I think Black Ops is the best in the series too. The story mode is believable in addition to being interesting, the multiplayer is near-perfect, and the zombie mode is a fun distraction. So yeah, in my opinion, it's the best so far. Oh and Resnov came back. Ura!!

My Opinion is kinda negative. I've watched people play it and it has fine graphics and playing techniques. However, the fanboys talk about it way too much and have litterally ruined my opinion about it.


You'd think that after a while, it'd get old to talk about CoD 24/7, so they'd move on to Halo or something.

Yeah I agree. The fanboys are really annoying. I can't stand how they talk about it 24/7. It's a good game, I just can't stand its fanclub.

I like playing CoD every once in a while with my friends but playing it all the time like some people do just gets boring

Call of Duty is apparently so good that they remade it with a few upgraded features. Eight times. Also, every single game released is now a military FPS, like Medal of Honor, Battlefield, Killzone, Counter-Strike, Crysis, and Super Special Awesome Nazi Zombie Kill War of Duty of Honor in Space on Ice the Musical. Team Fortress 2 is an exception, because it has unique ideas and you don't kill Nazis, Zombies, or Nazi Zombies. Another subseries of the military shooter is the space military shooter, which always stars one man, who changes his name occasionally, called the Grizzled Space Marine. Space shooters are awesome, but the Grizzled Space Marine must look for work elsewhere.

I personally like the series, and find them fun whenever I play them, but I'll always like Halo more because I can connect more deeply to it. And of course, TF2. Because it's freaking TF2.

Resistance 3 isn't a grizzled space marine. It's an ordinary man who just wants to protect his family.

That's why Resistance 3 is good.

I think that TF2 does the balancing act better. With Call, every gun for a particular set (SMG, Light MG, Sniper Rifle, etc.) is a direct upgrade to the last gun. There's no reason to use level 28's model, when level 32's has nothing but improvements. Meanwhile, TF2, there are no direct upgrades. Every weapon has it's own drawbacks, buffs, and strategies. That, and CoD doesn't have the Demoman.

I can't stand Call of Duty. All it is is shoot up a bunch of people. And not really just the game, some of the fanboys. They fap over it every 5 seconds being all, I'm a f***ing bawss and all your other games such and I'm like, dude, go join the real army, you'll find out how much you actully suck.

Now, I may be a bit biased because I don't like most shooter games. I like Fallout3 and New Vegas and I adore Time SPlitters: Future Perfect. But they got more then just shoot shit up, they have intresting characters, story lines and Cortez is halrious as balls.

I even don't mind Halo, IF, I'm playing with friends are we are just derping the hell around. I can't play with serious players that get mad at me cause I can't shoot right, or I accidentally friendly fire.

My cousin is asking for yet another CoD game for Christmas this year. I kind of feel sorry for him, being outside the wonderful world of Nintendo and all. Last year, he got a Limited Super Special Awesome Collector's Fangasm Edition Xbox 360 with a copy of Modern Warfare 3. I watched him play it pretty much for the whole Christmas party. I felt left out yet again for not liking that stuff and I feel bad how this is popular with the current generation. Nevertheless, I secretly knew that the games I had gotten that Christmas were better.

This year, his family is once again hosting our Christmas party, and he wants a PlayStation Vita with Black Ops 2. The poor child, he still hasn't learned. He needs to get off his ass and play some freakin' Skyward Sword right freakin' now. I actually heard my mother talking with my aunt (his mother) who said that when she told him it was too expensive, he told her to "cry me a river." I feel old saying this, but I mean, kids today, right?

Besides, how the hell do you even play a game like CoD on a portable? A shitty portable, at that? Moreover, how do these games keep selling so much? Does anyone think about the corperate takeovers before they buy!? Ugh.

Personally, I'm asking for some old-school GameCube-era games for this Christmas, (thank Zalgo for Facebook sell pages!) so while he wastes his free time pretending he's a badass war-type person thing when he clearly isn't, I'll be saving Isle Delfino, farming to save the Harvest Goddess, stop Ganondorf from taking over the Great Sea, fighting in a tournament between characters from the best games series ever made, riding in a Crystal Caravan to stop the miasma from reaching Tifa, watching TV with my Pikachu, rolling monkeys in plastic balls around obstacle courses, stopping Cipher and Team Snagem, saving the Internet from World Three, playing card games with rap artists in a school, going to a town full of nightmares and creepy shit, and rampaging through 1980s Miami. Name one thing out of that list that isn't more awesome than CoD. Better yet, name each game those are from and you'll get a cookie.

Alot of stuff is fans ruining it. Like I'm a FF fan, but some of the fanboys have overexaggerated, won't shut up about, and flooded it with so much porn with some games that I refuse to play them. Of course, some of them, when I hear how the main character is, I'm glad I don't play them XD
