BEN DROWNED

I jumped up with the usual gusto, "Leave it to me!"
I rolled into a ball as if to show off my ground pounding skill. But then something kind of hit him...
"Wait...where do I ground pound? And....how again do I do that? It seems my Sonic the Goron powers are a bit limited to what I know how to do. Come to think of it, I'm not sure how I spin dashed....and I think I may be frozen stuck in this position. Deku help."

I managed to keep my voice straight through the entire rant. I honestly wasn't trying that hard to get unstuck either. I suppose I was just trying to relieve tensions. Things were getting more stressed now that we were making progress than when we were actually backed against the wall.
But the fact was, I wasn't 100% sure how to ground pound, nor did I remember to much about this dungeon. Tragic considering it was 'my dungeon' but if we were lucky there would be no actual puzzle solving. There wasn't any in the last dungeon. Infact...there wasn't even a last dungeon technically!

"Let's try in front of the door first. Push yourself up, I suppose, then bring all your weight down ground-ward. We'll worry about the unfreezing thing in a second." I looked at the door. "If that don't work, we could try some more pounding... with our fists."

After a few tries that lead to no movement, I finally pounded up. But landed with no effect...
One more try later? Up and DOWN!
The button pressed in, and the door slowly moved open.

"...not bad!"

"Alright now let's get in and out of this storm- WWAAAAIT!! There could be something in there waiting for us!" I stood nearby DJ and 64, a little anxious to just barrel on straight into the shrine.

I nodded and took out that rapier that I hadno idea how to use properly. I slowly walked in, noticing that, indeed, there had been activity here. I cupped my ear to hear the Goron Baby and if it was crying. Its noises was audible, there were also Gorons curled up all around. Were they dead? Were they sleeping? I didn't know.

"Whoa, this doesn't look good. Not good at all." I thought, gently walking right behind Deku and Derp, still having the paranoid feeling of the father watching, I gently spoke in a voice that seemed to startle everyone. "Whoa, it's just me, alright?" I said, holding the holster of my sword, ready to draw it. "I've been with you guys the whole time, you just never look behind you, don't you know something could attack from behind?" I knew the advice sounded stupid, but it was true.

I couldn't help but take notice of how well done the shrine was, but with this head honcho running this place, I couldn't help but feel scared that one of us could be next.

Eykon and Mynh surveyed the sleeping Gorons. "I hope they're all right." Mynh said, looking sad.

"Their bodies may be shutting down due to the extreme cold and currently harsh environment." Eykon said, unintentionally sounding like a know-it-all.

I walked around, poking one of them. It didn't move. Perhaps it was in a deep sleep. That's what I hoped. I surveyed the shrine, hoping to find something. I wanted food. There wasn't any food here, either...

Slowly I started walking into the shrine, looking over the sleeping Gorons. "They look like they're in hibernation.." I muttered aloud. The weather wasn't good for them. "We should keep on our toes. The Father might strike at us again." I called out to the others.
I had no idea what this part of the game was like, since it wasn't in the videos and Jad hadn't mentioned this area. But still, I made my way over to DJ, seeing her looking for supplies. "I don't think there's any food here. These guys just eat rocks.." I patted her on the shoulder.

"Yeah, I know..." I said somewhat sadly. I walked over to the Goron Shop, and saw Potion. Sweet lord, something to drink. I looked in my wallet. Not enough rupees. I slumped a bit and thought. Perhaps I could just drink a Magic potion. Yeah. I took a pot and broke it, taking the green potion inside and drinking some. I flinched and gagged, looking away from the group for a sec to let my face stop turning so green. "Err." I kicked open another pot, a bigger bottle of Magic Potion popping up. "In case if anyone needs it. There's also a Red Potion stash in the Goron Shop, but you'll have to pay 80 rupees for a bottle. I uh... don't have enough money for that, but I'll gladly give it to someone who needs it."

I just shrugged, "That trasformation took a bit out of me. But I'm feeling a lot better now. So I should be good."

I found it odd that the gorons here were practically hibernating while I wasn't feel all that more cold then I was before.
Maybe it was because it hadn't taken effect on me yet. No doubt these guys have been chilling here for months. I wasn't sure...but to be honest I was kind of scared to think about it.

I stopped and turned my head around as if I was alerted to something nearby. "You guys... don't you hear crying?" I started to make my towards the ramp and tilted my head and cupped my hand to my ear. "There's someone crying up there! I think it's the Goron baby. I never played Majora's Mask but I saw a video of that little thing. Someone should go check it out while some of us stay behind and stand guard!" I looked around, wary if anything might pop up or not.

Eykon looked at the big jar of magic, and then he looked up at his magic meter. It was completely empty; it had been for a while and he didn't realize it. (Anyone forget that our stats are floating above out heads in a total breaking-the-4th-wall fashion? :P) He picked it up and looked inside, not really wanting to try it after DJ's reaction to it. Still, there was nothing for it. He moved his crystal so it wouldn't get in the way-and so it wouldn't accidentally ignite the potion; on the off-chance it was flammable-and drank it. He surprisingly drank it all in two gulps, but the look on his face afterward pretty much said that it was one of the worst things he's ever put in his mouth. He coughed a little. "Is this tonic a common drink for the residents of Termina?" He asked, with his hands over his stomach. He looked up and saw that his magic meter was full now, so he felt a little bit better. Mynh giggled at her partner's plight, but then stopped. Her ears perked up a little bit.

"I hear it too, Derpiny." She said. "It sounds like a baby, at least. Who wants to go see what it is?" She asked.

I flinched when I finally paid attention to the baby. "Oh lord. Shut that damn thing up..." I mumbled. "It was bad enough in-game, it's even worse now." I looked over at 64. "Surely you can calm him down? After all, you'll have to play the Goron's Lullaby to him, and it only means something if Unca' Darmi plays it for him."

"Sweet! I got this!"
I jumped in front of the Goron baby pumping out my chest to look as 'Darmani' as possible. "Goron baby child thing! Stop your crying and listen to my tune!"
The child stopped crying and answered back almost immediately, "Darmi!"
I flipped around my chest band and brought a set of drums out from behind my back. How I did it? No clue, but I did.
I messed around with the drums for a moment as the baby looked awkwardly at me for a moment. But in time I had the song remembered.
I began to play it but only got half way before the child finished it for me. We began a duet of drums and child like singing which soon ended with him falling asleep himself.
Interestingly enough as the baby goron finally began to rest, the other resting gorons seemed to 'untense' a little.
"Alright guys, if we're going to get these gorons up, we need to light these torches and get this place warm again. I'm starting to lose feeling in my ass."

kay, so Mario's made his return and handed over the command to me. I'm not sure if it' temporary or permanent, we'll see.

Point is, I'll be taking the reins for now unless if Mario wasn't them back, and he can do so at any time.

First thing I was do is go back to the original style of fighting with what we did for fighting Gabora. NO MORE F@#$ DICE, THE RPG MODULE'S F@#$ UP AS IS.

I'm gonna leave BEN, The Father, and Jad to Mario.

So yeah. There. Continue, I'll map out what'll happen next. The theme is Lord of the Rings. hahaha, I need to figure this out.

I nodded. I looked around for a stick. "Oh." I shrugged to 64. "Where can we find a Deku Stick?" I searched the ground.

"We can use use y-"

"No, Lirit."

Eykon put his big hand on DJ's shoulder. "Do not worry about it any longer." He said, strapping his crystal to his face with his other hand. He shot small fireballs at the torches and lit them all. After they were lit, the room warmed up slightly.

"This is weird. I'd expect some kind of trap, but now it just looks like The Father's got us going in circles..." Jad said.

Mario would have added a snarky comment on how Jad is no help either, but one of three things stopped him.

1. DJ is pissed.
2. An annoying man in a green body suit and a red speedo jumped on his back like a spider monkey.
3. Some combination of the two.

"AY! Get this freak offa me!" Mario desperately swatted at Tingle, but the little bugger dug his nails deep in Mario's back. In the skirmish, Mario's wallet ripped open, spilling Rupees all over the floor.

The grass-colored grifter quickly scooped up all the cash, and then pulled out a pathetic-looking knife made from a stick.

"GIVES US THE PRECIOUS! GIVESES IT!" He pointed his weapon at the Lens of Truth.

I began looking around after Eykon had lit up the torches. The place was bigger in the light, and much warmer now too. "Hey thanks Eykon. Now we can finally warm up without anything possibly crushing us."
All of a sudden I heard Mario screeching, which made me flinch and squeak. I quickly turned around and saw Tingle attacking him.
I wondered, just what the heck was up with Tingle? He doesn't act like this in the game does he?
After he pulled out his little stick knife I just stared at him. I've had just about enough shenanigans and was growing more impatient by the minute. Taking out my own sword, I took a swing at him and chopped off the top of his hat, held him down, then pointed the sword in his face.
"Did I swing it two times or only one? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a 3 and a half foot blade, which is more threatening than your poor excuse of a butter knife, and would chop your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"

"Woah woah woah there, Derpy Harry! I've seen Lord of the Rings 27 times, and I can tell we could use this guy's help. Well, at least until we reach the top of the mountain, in which case he'll betray us, and we're gonna have to throw the Lens into a lava pit or something, and he dies, but we aren't supposed to know that yet anyway." Mario pointed out.

"YES! Yes, don't hurtses the Tingles! Come with, the Tingles will helpses youses!" The man cried desperately.

"Fine, we'll let you live, just stop talking like goddamned Fonzie!" Mario yelled.

"He'll gnaw off our fingers!" I shouted. Then I heard what Mario said. "Why can't we just throw him in?"

"He'll only have a mental breakdown where he's talking to himself and have fights with himself about diet and regular cola! He likes all the calories Mario! He likes all the calories!!!" I started rambling. "We can't trust him, he's only an NPC! UGH!"
I turned back to Tingle. "Only if you give those rupees back we let you live, or it's off with your head, Tinker Tots! Now let's go calm down that damn baby!"

The insane man grumbled as he tossed the Rupees back towards the party. He then scurried away on all fours, to who knows where.
