Chosen by history, a man becomes a warrior. Engraved into history, a warrior becomes a hero.
~Song by a 14th Century troubadour

Transcending history, and the world
A Tale of Souls and Swords eternally retold.
~ Anonymous

Countless legends surround a sword known as Soul Edge. Some claim it to be the ultimate weapon. Others refer to it as the Sword of Heroes; a phantom sword with immeasurable of the spirits; the key to eternal youth; a treasure without equal; a panacea to cure all illnesses.
Although various folklore of Soul Edge spread across the world, its true nature was unmistakably evil. It was a demonic sword that fed on souls.

The sword, born from human hands, came to life and began devouring souls after bathing in human blood countless times. Around the same time, a spirit sword called Soul Calibur mysteriously appeared, almost as if to answer the call of the evil blade. The two swords clashed many times throughout the centuries, but these strife were never etched into history, for no one knew...

All throughout history, men have craved adventure. Human qualities such as greed, curiosity, and questing minds are intimately interwoven with history and drive it onward. Men saw Soul Edge as the ultimate prize. Rumors surrounding the demonic sword passed from person to person, tempting those who heard of its stories.

This era was inundated with clashes and battles of warriors who roamed the lands in their quest for Soul Edge. It was a world where any desire could be realized with enough strength and will.

The story about to unfold is about such warriors.

The story begins anywhere in the Renaissance/Old World Europe and Asia, depending on your specific situation and how you see fit to execute a solution.

I'll use modern countries to make it easier for you.

For antiheroes joining Xianghua, you would probably start in China. Note that China's hard to access from outside borders. I recommend starting IN China if you want to join Xianghua or cross Asia to meet Raphael, or you can cross the waters to Japan, leading me to my next option. Xianghua is seeking Soul Edge, but to destroy it and return what was stolen from her.

For seekers joining Taki, it'd be best to start in Japan. You could start in china as well, but note the hard time you'd have leaving China. No one goes into China, and no one gets out of China.

For seekers joining Raphael, you would probably start in France or a neighboring country like Spain, Belgium, or even Germany. The European Empire would be thriving at this time, mostly the British Empire.

For seekers simply planning to go on their own, start wherever you'd like.

Seekers PROBABLY shouldn't join outside seekers. You want that sword ONLY for yourself, amirite?

For destroyers joining Sophitia or Cassandra, I recommend you start in Greece or a close country like Bulgaria. These two girls are very tough, mind you.

For destroyers joining Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi, start in China. Maxi originates from the Ryukyu Kingdom, just off of China. Chances are, the Team Leader will want to join with other forces that also plan to destroy Soul Edge.

For destroyers joining Talim and Link, start in the Philippines. These two soft-spoken fighters are out to save their country, and it's wise that if your character is doing the same, that you join this team.

For destroyers simply planning to go on their own, start wherever you'd like.

I'll post my first post later on. I wanna get some things finished and clear this slight writer's block. I also need to set up the dice.

In the earth's hemisphere, there were two ships engaged in combat. Above the Philppines, One of the ships was shooting down the discinagrateing fleeing starfighter. In the falling ship there was a clueless prince, unsure of what he should do. Without hesitation, he jumped out of the cockpit.Faiting at sudden death, a being was ahold of him. The being set the young prince down near a rather tall palm tree.

"You are Christopher Aurea Shuzen, as inquisitor of the stars, I command you to aid the ones who seek to destroy Soul Edge. For the sake of the Feature." Finished the voice.

A blue sword laid atop of Chris.

Robert wandered around in a small village somewhere in the Philippine. He seemed to be looking for something…or someone. Perhaps he could join some people aiming to destroy Soul Edge. Robert sighed and stared at the sky as he put his hands in his pockets.

“Who would make a corrupted sword like that?” He thought to himself. “Did the people who made it know it would backfire? No, of course not otherwise they wouldn’t have made it.”

He returned his attention back in front of him so as to not bump into anyone or anything by mistake. He just hoped that he’d run into a familiar face.
_________________________________________________________________________________

A ways away from the village Robert was in, a female Sheikah decked in all black walked towards it with silent steps. Kali’s red eyes remained unmoving from the village. He ears remained focus on her surroundings incase anyone decided to get the drop on her. She had to find some people to aid in the elimination of the cursed Soul Edge. As a warrior who’s people used to protect the royal family, she felt it was her duty to keep doing good deeds. Like preventing evil souls from killing the innocent. The Soul Edge was one of the things on her list to search and destroy.

A huge yellow eye with a slit pupil gazed down on the country of Germany as it hovered high above it. Naladox sat with one leg over the other and rested his chin in the palm of his hand as he looked at the flourishing country. He smiled, rows of shark-like teeth gleaming in the sun.

“Heheheheh…humans…such pathetic creatures. If they think they’ll get the Soul Edge for their own, they’re sorely mistaken…” He said, his deep voice chilling even the birds that flew a safe distance from him.

Hiranil flew up and hovered next to him. “Retsam eerga I.” She said with a wide, malicious, and twisted smile. “Diputs os er’yeht…such poor excuses for living creatures…can I slaughter an entire village?” She asked.

Naladox shook his head. “Not now Hiranil. We’ll wait until the time is right.” He said before he smiled again. “And when that time comes…you can slaughter as many villages as you want. Hell, make it a few cities.”

Hiranil smiled. “I can’t wait to dig my claws into their soft flesh.” She said before she stared to laugh insanely. “GNIMOC TI EES REVEN LLIW SNAMUH ESOHT!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!”

The dazed and confused prince seemed to slightly recover as the day wen't by, his survival instinct was in effect, with that being said, he gripped the susspicious sword and begun to look for shelter to have a proper recover, his left arm seemed almost sprained from hitting the ship's monitor as it went down prior to his current situation, still, he was alive and breathing; his chances felt nice.

The sword spoke to him telapathicly. " Please go to the near by villiage, your chances for recovery are greater there then in the open." The Voice said. " Who are you...? " Chris asked with slight praize,seeing as the voice is willing to guide him. " I am Apocoliptio, the sword that resides to you. But please, no more questions till you are entirly safe your highness." said Apocoliptio in a cautious tone.

Chris nodded and begun proceeding to the villiage.

"I wish I could stop that boy myself, but that damned demon had to just spoil him." A native appearing cat man with burgundy hair was leaping from tree to tree in a thin stretch of trees leaving little slits with his spear as he went. He eventually ran out of trees and dropped out onto the ground landing on some very outlandish sandals. He looked around and a puzzled look came onto his face. "Where the devil am I even at..." He mumbled to himself. He hoisted a large spear over his shoulders and walked cautiously forward hoping to find out where he ended up. After a while of walking, he noticed some people off in the distance, and slowly made his way over to them.
(That's going to probably give some confusion, but I don't know much about Greece terrains, so I had to wing it a bit.)

The young Prince was so confused as he tried to access the fabric of his very memory. Unsure of his past due to prior battles, unsure how he ended up on a alian world to him, how he ended up in a different time period? This caused a emotional break down, tears running down his cheeks, to his chin, hitting the soft soil of the path. He coulden't even remember who the scarf was givin to him by, his good luck charm that his older sister gave him, or his engagment ring. His memory was lost to him, this only antagnized himself. Why he moved on? He was uncertin. Even if he were to die, he'd only have two choices since he can't age, he only gets reborn from star dust, his choices were to take current age of a year old, or as a new born, same DNA structure. Either choice, he was dammned to excist forever.

Upon arriving to the villiage, he saw a brief figure that seemed like a one tailed Kitsune with a spear and shield, holding his hand out to him. " Don't strain yourself.. " said the figure, however , the figure faded, it being his imagination, fainting in the village, collaspsed from trama on the very soil.

A clear, yet swirling rift opened up in Japan, near a more remote and more uninhabited area. A giant mass of shadows, about 12 feet tall, floated out of it. Two red eyes opened and scanned the area. "The 16 Celestial Gods will crumble under the might of this 'Soul Edge'. Nobody will take this from me. I will be the only ruler of the universe." A voice said from within the shadows. It was crazily distorted, sounding more evil than the worst of demons. the mass of shadows started to move, by seemingly gliding across the ground. He didn't make it very far, when a black and red portal opened up from above. A mass of thin, black squares poured out of the portal and assembled into the shape of a young woman. she had medium-length purple hair, and completely red eyes. Her black and blue skin looked extremely sensitive to the light, which was probably why she carried a black umbrella with her that blocked out the sunlight underneath it completely. It wasn't made out of cloth. She had a gray skirt with white markings on it, and she didn't have shoes on. What captivated Gax the most about her, however, was her flaming red necklace, single black glove, and a little red flame on her chest. Gax said nothing as the woman walked over to him.

"I felt a sudden surge of malignant energy," she said, with a huge and crazy grin on her face, "and I just had to see what it was." She stopped just far enough away from the black mass in order to see the entire way up. "My name is Veenox. You...I don't even know what to say about you. Standing in your presence gives my entire body goosebumps. The power that just radiates from your body is marvelous. since you're here, I guess you're searching for the Soul Edge, are you not? You should join me. I'm looking for it as well. If we team up, we should-" She was cut off by Gax's swift departure. She ran up to him. "It's rude to leave someone when they're talking to you, you know!" She said, clearly annoyed. Gax did not let up.

"Your attempts at flattery won't get you anywhere. I work alone, and even if I did decide to work for someone, it would be for someone who isn't so insecure about their abilities, that they have to send a henchman to do their work for them." Gax said, coldly. Veenox's heart seemed to stop when she heard Gax for the first time. "I can smell your fear. It smells awful. Go away." He said. Veenox straightened up, although her reanimated heart was beating against her breastbone.

"My master isn't insecure. He would have come here, but he has more important things to attend to, so he sent me instead." She said defiantly.

"I will not work for you. Leave me now, while I have patience left. I can't ensure your life if I get mad at you." It was clear that the demon was getting agitated. The wispy shadows at the end of his body were moving erratically now.

"You would kill a woman?" Veenox asked, thinking she had Gax pinned in a corner. The demon's reaction was to shove a shadowy tendril through the Twili's heart. "ACK!!!" she cried, as her hands went up to her chest.

"I am Demon Lord Gax! I refuse to move for any man, woman, or child! If you get in my way, I will cut you down, regardless of your age, gender, or race! Go and tell your master to back off, or I will greet him personally and destroy him as well!" Gax bellowed as he retracted his tendril and left Veenox to die. Veenox's black, cake batter-like blood slowly poured out of her body. After a few moments, her wound closed up and she got up, getting her umbrella so the sun wouldn't hurt her. She stared in Gax's general direction before a portal appeared above her head, and she warped away.

Garrett sat in a small cafe that overlooked an area in China. He was enjoying a light lunch, of some Chinese dumplings. Across the table from him, sat a figure which was completely black, with white eyes. It was wrapped in silver chains with a golden padlock at its back. People took no notice of the creature. It looked a little bored.

"Garrett, let's go already. We've been in China for a few days and we still haven't found any information about the Soul Edge." Its voice was feminine. Garrett tapped his finger on the table twice, before taking another dumpling. The creature sighed. "At least follow the Grand Astra's orders and do something. He trusted this to you and not some other Astra, so don't mess this up." She said, before Garrett got up. He paid for his lunch and then walked the streets, looking for someone who knew about the Soul Edge.

A Tale of Souls and Swords Empty FUUUUUCK ME...

Post by Deku Link Wed Mar 14, 2012 9:24 pm

Within a small village in the Philippines, the sky held low, a dark cloud of hopelessness. Just 3 days previous, a fragment of a sword known as Soul Edge had spread its darkness, putting their Wind Priestess Talim into a deep sleep. No one knew when or if she'd wake up. The day after the dainty fighter had fainted, another victim of the darkness had washed up in a stream that ran through the village. The boy sported a green tunic with a long green cap, accented with a white undershirt, white leggings, leather gauntlets, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Of course, this was difficult to tell. After all, some creature of darkness had struck the boy's neck and other places, staining nearly all of him red. He was nearly in death's full grip.

The Priestess Talim had mid-back-length black hair entangled in two braids, held at the ends with golden bead-like bangles. Her outfit was slightly skimpy, the Philippines was a very warm collection of islands. She wore a tube top that was green with baggy white pants. Her arms were hugged by two bracelet-like sleeves. Her body sprawled out on the bed she was placed in, a bed right next to the dieing boy.

___________________

4 days later, Talim's eyes opened once more, taking in the light fiercely. The boy next to her was awake, but his back was to her. Bandages were all over the boy's body. Immediately a swarm of villagers surrounded Talim, bombarding her with questions. Were you alright? Are you feeling better? Why'd this happen? Was it the darkness brewing? Talim tried her best to answer. I'm fine. I feel fine. I don't know. I don't know. She paused to see the boy, bleeding only a little now. She slowly approached and brushed two fingers against his swollen skin. The boy flinched. So he was indeed alive.

It seemed that the medics knew she was awake, and so was he. They dashed in, gently forcing Talim back into her bed, giving her some light foods. They took some cold water and rags and ran them across the boy's face. He cringed as each stream of water touched him. It was a mixed feeling of pain and relief. He couldn't tell. He was in too much pain to think.

His throat felt more hollow than normal. His eyes opened, a brilliant sapphire blue to contrast all the pink and red on his face. The boy scanned the faces around him. They all had round ears, small eyes, and noses like jelly rolls. They were different from his very long ears, large eyes, and pointy nose. The round eared people stared at him just as confused as he was.

"What's your name?" One of the villagers asked. "Can you speak English?"

The boy formed shapes with his lips, but all that came out were small gusts of air. The injury had sliced his vocal chords into pieces. His voice was now a soft whisper. He was in shock for a little bit. A dead silence, cold and striking, sunk down throughout the room.

"Link." Link rubbed his throat. The scar was deep. His eyes were filled with dread. Link had just dodged death. He sat up. Did they see him as evil or good?

A medic laid him back down and gave him some water. "Can you swallow?"

He gulped down some of the water, and nodded. But he insisted on getting back up. "Princess Zelda... Where is Princess Zelda?" The accent on his whisper was thick compared to the tongue spoken by the humans around the elfish man.

"Princess Zelda?" Another villager asked. "We never met a princess here." Link's eyes grew wide. "We only have Priests and Priestesses here. In fact, we have Priestess Talim right here, if you meant her."

Link looked over at the woman who seemed just as curious as the common people surrounding him. But she wasn't Princess Zelda. Link shook his head slowly as his eyes closed. He stared at the ceiling once more. Zelda had asked him to stay in Hyrule to protect her, but he had snuck off to journey some more.

Talim didn't feel dizzy at all. She got up and held out her hand to Link. "Are you able to stand?" Link fragilely gripped her hand, and, though it was excruciating, got to his feet. He stumbled a little. The villages were surprised, however. It wasn't only because he had gotten up so quickly, but their legends told them that elves were all tall. But Link was short in stature, only a few inches taller than Talim. He walked gingerly a few feet before stopping. "If you can't walk, then please, rest here a bit," Talim softly spoke to him. Link shook his head, signaling he could do it. Talim smiled, and rushed out of the tent the beds were in and went out to gather information, Link staying in the tent until his face would stop swelling up.

"Ah, such pretty scenery..." Silver smiled to himself, glad to see this realm of earth again. "This world is a lot like mine, only mine is getting more advanced than this." He looked around the French countryside, off to find this so called: "Soul edge" or whatever. He gave a quick sigh, and looked around again, not getting over how pretty the view was. "Maybe me and Crystal could vacation here..If we're not busy." He chuckled, remembering that this was for his loved ones back home. "I sense that Rome is my final point, and end this all." He quickly picked up his pace, knowing he could be the one to destroy this evil weapon.

Meanwhile, more Northern up....

"So, the blade is in Rome? How nice." Duncan smirked, walking down the Paris roads, and giving an adjustment to his hat. "Maybe then, I could fulfill my role in bringing back my dark lord himself, and he would honor me, just a great plan." He continued to ponder to himself as he got stopped by a guard, asking him if he had any identification papers, but the guard had a terrible fate, for he ended up impaled on the lance, and flung into a nearby wall. "How about that? Guard souls are quite lively than I expected." He said, holding his hand to the already dying guard's forehead, and drained him. "It's just my curse, to kill all that stand in my way."

Naladox perked up his head and turned his head to his right. He said nothing as he glared at the direction.

“Oot ti esnes I retsam…” Hiranil said.

“I’ve never felt so much power other than my own before…” Naladox said. He and his Subordinate weren’t unnerved by this sudden appearance of mass energy. They were highly interested.

“Tou ti kcehc ew nac?”

“In a while. I sensed another source of energy. It disappeared for just a short time when it confronted the larger energy source…then came back. And now it’s on the move. But I can’t tell where it’s headed.” Naladox said, standing on his levitating eyeball. “Let’s stay here for a little while and see if that smaller source of energy decideds to come our way. I’m very interested in how it came back.”

Hiranil sighed. “retsam sey…” She said in a sad tone. She really wanted to check this powerful source of energy to see who it belonged to. It was about as strong as her master’s and she was very intrigued.

“Hold out your arm please.” Naladox suddenly said.

Hiranil did as she was told and held out an arm.

Naldadox took out a black tome with odd runes carved into them. He placed it on her arm and it turn into a liquid substance as it started to encase around her arm. It started to gather into a large ring on her upper arm then hardened when it looked like a thick arm brace.

Hiranil observed her new arm brace and looked at Naladox with a questioning look. “Sneppah taht fi ytilatrommi our esol ll’ouy? Aera that ni kcatta na dnal ot seganam enomos fi kaerb ym ti. Aedi doog a si siht erus ouy era.”

Naladox nodded his head. “Yes, that is true. But given the circumstances back at the hideout, it would be best if we carry it with us. No one will suspect it being just an arm brace.”

Hiranil gave a nod of her head in return. ““Dnatsrednu I.”

“Now let’s spend a little time on solid ground.” Naladox said before he and Hiranil started to slowly descend to the ground.

Robert was deep in thought as he approached a tent that looked like a wooden house. It was a nice-looking tent; he just wondered why it was called a tent even though it clearly looks like a house. Perhaps he should study these people’s customs to understand them better.

He shifted his thoughts back to the Soul Edge when he came to the front of the tent. Where was this sword exactly? And who would be brave enough to join him in his journey to destroy it? As he was thinking this a girl with brown hair and wearing green and white clothes rushed out of the tent and plowed right into him so hard that both of them fell to the ground. His head made a collision with the solid earth at the same time.

“…Ouch…” Robert muttered as he rubbed the side of his head. “Sorry…I didn’t see you…are you ok?” He asked, opening on eye to look at the girl who nearly ran him over.

Kali wasn’t too far when the two collided. She was getting some information when the scene distracted her. “Blue hair…is that Robert?” She asked herself before she went over to inspect the accident.

Gax continued to travel through Japan. He was hoping that he wouldn't have to run into any of the natives, but that wasn't the case when he spotted a village in the direction he was headed in. "Ugh. Humans reek. They reek of corruption and greed and otherwise bad hygiene." He said, as his shadows started getting tighter and tighter on his body. They morphed his body into that of a somewhat tall man, with tanned skin. He had a neatly trimmed beard and mustache, with short hair. He wore a basic black shirt, with black shoes, and black pants. He walked through the village, although the people there knew that something was wrong with him.

The burgundy haired man walked quite a ways when he saw civilization coming onto the horizon. "So I'm not exactly in the middle of nowhere." Julian let out a sigh of relief before his stomach gave a little growl after traveling for many, many hours. He began to jog lightly towards the civilization eager to get some enlightenment as to where he is.

Upon his arrival at the civilization men came up to him and held their weapons pointed to him. "Can you tell me where I'm at exactly? I'm kinda... lost." Julian scratched the back of his head. The men lunged at him and swung their weapons for him. "Hey!" The burgundy haired cat man back flipped and held his lance at ready. (Why can't everyone just know English?) The men came for him again, but had their weapons deflected by the black lance held by the cat man. They continued to scuffle as Julian kept trying to explain what he was there for.

The boy strolled through the town harmlessly as the people did the same. They just kept away from him fearing the worst of a kitsune's ire.

A Tale of Souls and Swords Empty Re: A Tale of Souls and Swords

Fush fush, fush fush...
Their steps were unheard, their shadows unseen.
Fush fush.
Only the sound of the wind rustling about their unnoticeable forms could be heard.
Fush.
They stopped, they had arrived at their destination.
"Is this the place?" the shorter man asked.
"Yes, you should be safe here for now."

Stepping into the light, it could be seen that both men were wearing masks. One was that of a kitsune, a fox known for its magical powers. The other's however was much stranger, a single eye with an eerie smile donned its visage. They removed their masks partially, each just enough as to lock a single eye with the other.
"Demonic forces have only continued to grow lately, your tools are sure to gain you some attention. Avoid Toki-Sama at all costs." the fox masked man bated.
"What of your master Kotaro-Sama?" the single eye masked man rebutt'led, "Isnt he aware of any of this?"
The fox masked man tapped the finger on the forehead of his mask, holding it still over most of his face, "Our country is at war, Kotaro-Sama is far to busy delegating the Fuma clan's place among the warring states. Daimyo Hideyoshi is losing power fast, and we're all in a lot of trouble if Ieyasu takes power. For now, he needs Toki-Sama's strength, even if his thirst for this evil has twisted him."

"And you're certain this girl can help me?" the shorter of the two asked, placing his mask back on fully.
The fox masked Fuma Ninja did the same, "She's been excommunicated from the clan due to her betrayal of Toki-Sama. However, nobody knows of evil blades better then her. If what I hear is true, then the sword you seek could be the very same as the one she came across a few years back." he stepped back into the darkness, "My sources tell me she'll be passing through here soon, she's intending on charting a vessel to the main land to head to the western world. You can catch her then. Keep in mind though, my sources are Toki-Sama's sources. Odds are good for an ambush against her, so be weary."

The odd ninja adjusted his single eye'd mask, "Thank you for all of your help. It has been an honor and a pleasure, I apologize for attacking like I did earlier."
The Fuma just chuckled, "Your fighting style is strangely similar to mine for some one who claims to know nothing about Ninjas or the Fuma clan, and we do have enemies of our own that will think the same thing. It would probably be best if you avoided any one apart of or familiar with the Fuma from now on. Except for Taki-San of course. Good luck Kasuto-San."

The Fuma bowed from the shadows and disappeared in a blink. With that the foreign ninja removed his mask fully, which didn't do much but reveal his eyes as his lower mouth was still covered. He mumbled to himself from beneath said cloth masking, "Uhh... The Princess's request was that I found him, not the cursed blade. But if I follow the same quest as him, I'm bound to run into the boy sooner or later. And I'm sure bringing back such a powerful blade would only strengthen the Shiekah clan. Evil though it maybe... Now if only I could find that other idiot who managed to cross the planes before me... Just wait till I get my hands on her, she's gonna wish it was the Shiekah elder instead!"

(You know who he's talking about Kat! XD)

"Ha!" CLANK!
"You left yourself open ya damn fool!" BANG!
CLINK! "Aye! And you be more of a damned fool if you be think'n your cheap tricks'll work on me!"
CLANK! BANG! "I'll keel hall ye barely breath'n body when I'm done with ya's! Then I'll string ya up by your toes and make a pretty new bow piece out of that red head of yours!" CRASH!

The Legendary Pirate of the Eastern Grand Sea Captain Raurumaru the Red of the Romance Dawn had indeed met his match. A lot of things he had seen in his days, ghost ships were most definitely one of them. But a ghost captain!? This was madness!
"Aye!" he picked himself up off the mess of wood from the barrels he had just been thrown threw, "They blade you have there, be that the cursed blade or not?"
The man laughed as he glowed with the light not of this world, "HAHahaha! You mean Soul Edge? Aye, indeed it is. But this is only half of the two set blade. The smaller half at that. But donchu be worry'n that pretty red head of yours over that. Your soul will feed my Soul Edge, and soon its power will trump that of its larger half. Allowing me, dread Captain Cervantes de León to reclaim her other half and obtain my full power once again!" the undead pirate sliced downward with the 'lesser' soul edge, slicing through everything that got in its way. Wood, steal, and Captain Rama had he not dodged out of the way when he did. Nothing he did worked on this man!
"Aye Cap'n Cervantes, you be an impressive match for meself indeed! But you see, that there can't be the true Soul Edge, cause if she were then my mystic blade Soul Deep would have broken her into bits hours ago! So ha!"
Captain Cervantes almost facepalmed, blade and all, at this comment, "What madness you be speakn boy!? That be your idea of a joke? You trying to pass that piece of rust bait off as that damned blade Soul Calibur? I'll give you credit lad, no one's ever survived a spat with me as long as you have. But I get the feeling you aren't playing with a full deck."

Rama wasn't quite getting what the Captain meant, but he was right about one thing. This fight was going on way to long. The Red had stamina, but no living man could match the stamina of the undead.
"Alright captain De Leon! I'll be take'n my leave of your ship now! Even if your blade be Soul Edge, you said yourself it only be a piece of the whole. Clearly me blade won't shatter that which is already shattered. So I guess I'll have to go after the bigger half now won't I?"
Cervantes just laughed, "Boy, you really are stupid. You can't even stand up to me, what makes you think you'll last even a minute against the Azure Knight. Go ahead and run, but your soul will be devoured by Soul Edge no matter which of us you choose to face. HAHahahaha!"

Ramaru did escape, but barely. That battle took a lot out of him, and he needed a good rest once he made it to the Spanish shore. Just who was that ghost pirate refering to when he said Azure Knight?

After a while , Chris begun to have nightmares, being neglected, the same being seemed to pick him up, it greatly resembled a knight.
" You are simply weak for the time being... You should be at the inn..." Said Apocoliptio.

With that, holding Chris in his left arm, he proceeded to the inn, checking them a room. The prince on the bed, a sword at the bed side. Most of it was seen as a mystery to those who are uninformed of their precence.

(sdfhfjksafh we are? Oh shit. le deeeeerp.)

Talim fell butt-first onto the ground. Link flinched, but realized she was alright. "I'm sorry. I'm fine, are you okay?"

Cassandra had begun to leave the place she knew as home. Seven years previous, Taki had presented to her, the unconscious body of Sophitia, as well as a fragment of soul Edge. So when she saw Sophitia leave once more, there had to be only one goal: To stop Soul Edge. Cassandra didn't want to see her sister fail once more, so she set out as well to stop the evil sword as well, but not before stealing one of Sophitia's swords. Perhaps she could catch up to her sister and use teamwork to return peace to the world. What also fueled her fight was the time she saw Sophitia's children fighting over a metal fragment of the Soul Edge. The corruption that day sparked the light that wished to burn evil.

“Yeah, I’m ok.” Robert said before he stood up and helped Talim back on her feet. “My name is Robert.” He said.

“Well well…Robert Crenal…long time no see.” Kali said, walking up to him, arms crossed.

“Kali? What a pleasant surprise. What brings you here?”

Kali shrugged. “Oh nothing much. Just looking for some people willing enough to put an end to the Soul Edge.” She said. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Link staring at the trio. She turned her head to face him. “If it isn’t the Hero of Time. I’ve heard about you.” She said. “…My word…what happened to him?” She asked, noticing his many bandages, bruises, and the scar on his neck.

Apocoliptio stood outside of the Inn to observe the locals and to see if there was anyone inparticular." Hmmmmm..." he said seeing Talim and Link. " Quite a wound on that neck of yours." He said sympathetically whail maintaining a blank expression.

Chris was asleep in the Inn room.

Link looked down in embarrassment.

Talim looked a bit surprised. "Hero of Time...?" She turned around and saw Link's head hung low. "Oh, Link?" she asked, facing the two again. "He got hurt somehow and apparently, can't speak anymore."

"It was a battle," Link whispered, but no one could hear him. He wasn't so worried about his injuries any more, he had something to stop. Usually defeat'd hurt his ego a little, but he usually bounced back. He limped out and approached the new faces. "Ehh?" He whispered. "How do you know about me in a place like this?" Obviously, this wasn't the Link Robert and Kali knew. He was some reincarnation, but no one knew of who. He looked just like the Hero of Time, but it wasn't the Hero of Time they knew.

Apocoliptio nodded " He's not from this world, much like my companion who is currently resting at the Inn. He is currently on a mission, he is to find and destroy Soul Edge, but I fear he is too weak by him self, magic isn't enough. I do ask that you may aid our plight. " Apocoliptio bowing in a formal maner.

Link looked even more confused. "Who're you?" He asked.

Talim was rather confused to see Link struggle to recognize people who seemed to have spoken with him plenty in the past. "Link, did you hit your head at all?"

Link looked over at Talim. "No... not that I recall. I've never seen these faces before..."

Apocoliptio sighed. "You and I have never encountered. But in a different universe you may have encountered Christopher Aurea Shuzen, I'm his Gaurdian Spirit, Prince of the Blue comets, Apocoliptio Valithimos. " He finished as he stood firmly.

Chris walked out somewhat holding his head. " Ughh.... Who are these people Apocoliptio ? " He said somewhat paranoid.

Apocoliptio somewhat half smiled. " Possibly your new allies." He smiled fully this time.
Chris turned to them. "Sorry about that, just a little tence... I'm Christopher Aurea Shuzen, Plesure to make your aquatince." He smiled somewhat.

“Link, is it? I’ve never met you before, so you can relax. News of your deeds in Hyrule spread quickly among the Sheikah.” Kali said. “And what kind of battle was it?” She asked before pointing at her ears. “These things aren’t just for show you know.” Her sensitive ears picked up what Link said so she heard him when no one else could. She could make out a few words though, but she knew what he was trying to say.

When Chris approached the group, Kali quickly went silent.

Robert put his hand on his chin. “Hmm…I don’t think this is the Link I know. If he was then he’d recognize me right off the bat. Is he a descendant? Oh well, it’ll be nice to be friends with two Links. And I see Chris doesn’t recognize me either…oh well.” He thought. “Hello Christopher.” He said.

Back in Germany a small village was not so lucky when Naladox and Hiranil decided to say hello to the natives. This once lively and bustling village was now in ruins. Houses burned while others were shattered as if a giant came by and crushed them with one blow. People were panicking as they tried to run away from the demons' wrath. But none did for there were bloody and mutilated bodies scattered everywhere. Men, woman, even children…no one was spared.

Naladox grabbed ahold of a villager’s face and lifted him a few feet off the ground. “I’ll ask one more time…” Naladox said in the German language. “Tell me the location of the Soul Edge…or I’ll rip out your intestines.”

The poor villager struggled in his grasp, his legs kicked in the air from the lack of solid land. “Guuhh…I’m…I’m telling you the truth…I don’t know where it is…” The villager gasped.

Naladox growled a deep disembodied growl. “You useless piece of shit.” He said bitterly before he ripped off his head. He dropped the head and the body and watched as blood quickly leaked out of said body. “Humans…so pathetic…I abhor them.” He said in his own language.

Hiranil flew over a burning house and pounced on the body. “Ooh human flesh…sweet human flesh…how I love you…EHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!” She cried before she bit into the soft meat.

Naladox crossed his arms. “Remember to wipe your mouth after you’re done.”

Veenox appeared during Naladox and Hiranil's raid of a village in Germany. She had no doubt that they could sense her presence, but she still stayed a little ways away from the carnage, just observing. Her only target was Gax, but she knew that going back to him right now would be a bad idea. Maybe she could befriend these people and then stab them in the back later. Seeing the carnage made her really want to join the fray, but the Puppetmaster told her to hold back. She had to be patient, her time would come very soon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Garrett and Astra were looking around everywhere for clues to the Soul Edge, but their search took them nowhere. None of the civilians they asked knew anything about the weapon, which was to be expected. They didn't really think that they would make any headway with trying civilians, but they had to try regardless. Eventually they stumbled upon a dojo, and they went inside. There were many fighters there, some sparring, others onlooking, others training by themselves. A few of them stopped to take notice of Garrett.
"This is as good a place as any to keep looking," Garrett muttered under his breath.
"Please don't do anything hasty. This is a dojo after all, and I'm sure that you'd get your ass handed to you if you got anyone here angry. I really don't feel like becoming Sledge in this place." Astra said, knowing that her Bonded was going to just go right ahead and say something stupid.
"Does anyone here know about the Soul Edge?" Garrett asked.
"Garrett, if my hands and arms weren't bound in chains, I'd smack my forehead with the palm of my hand." Astra said with a sigh.
