Hyrule Field Guidelines

Please take time to read all 9 rules
I. Do not Spam. Spamming is Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. In other words, do not simply type gibberish as your posts, and we need your words to be one sentence at the minimum. For stories and fan fictions, the sky is the limit!
II. Our staff does NOT tolerate flaming. Flaming is cyber-bullying. Do not write it, do not forward it. Any form of flame should be reported to either FierceDeityLink!, Espemon333 or me [Linkzeldafan4]. Flaming will also be considered as a type of harassment, so do not even think to write it. Cyberbullying is also an offense in all 50 states. Your [written] evidence of Cyberbullying can be reported to a sheriff and you can be charged with a felony. Remember, just because it’s not on your computer, doesn’t mean someone [the government] has your things logged.
III. Avoid the “Trollercoaster”. The “Trollercoaster” is obviously trolling. Trolling is being extremely annoying and continuing to bother another user after they have asked you to stop. Anyone riding the “Trollercoaster” will be kicked out of HF for a while, depending on the level of offense.
IV. Do not post pr0nz, please. Pr0nz is pictures of people, or even, characters, drawn or taken inappropriately, or, is too vulgar for anyone 13 AND UNDER. Please, do not pass a PG-13 level here on HF. Some of our members are under the age of 13, and we do not want to be responsible for any parent’s complaints.
V. PERSONAL INFORMATION. If you believe that, you are totally confidant in doing this and you feel safe enough to do so, HF cannot be responsible for any real life abuse from the other user, sexual or physical.
VI. NECRO-POSTING. It is so annoying to deal with necro-posting. Necro-posting is posting in an old or dead topic. Remember: You have 3 months until a topic is considered dead or old. This does NOT apply to art topics, RP topics, News Topics, Fan fiction topics, or any other updatable media.
VII. STEALING ANYONE’S WORK WILL RESULT IN A PERMAMENT BAN. Stealing people’s work isn’t cool, it’s what sissies do. We aren’t discouraging fan fictions (or series, for that matter) at all, in fact I [Linkzeldafan4] ENCOURAGE them as long as they’re creative. If I DO find that you have stolen any person’s work from HF to a different site or vice versa, you will be banned, your account will be deleted (posts will retain), and your banned mask will NOT allow you to view the site whatsoever to prevent further theft. If you want someone’s story on your own site, ASK THEM FIRST.
VIII. TO THE STAFF: DO NOT ABUSE YOUR POWERS. You will only get one chance. If someone has good evidence that you have abused your powers, they will be taken away without notification.
IX. If you feel threatened in any way, shapes, or form on our website, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE contact one of our staff members A.S.A.P! We want everyone to have fun and have a positive experience on HF.
