Character Battle Thread! (America vs The Scout)

Ever see two (or more) characters and thought "Gee, I wonder who would win in a fight between these guys?" well, now's your chance! I will be posting a series of characters, both from the East coast and the West coast. It's really simple to cast a vote. Just vote for who you want to win (or lose, if it's an elimination round). After a sufficient amount of battles, the winners of those rounds will come back for a tournament! Sounds fun right? Here are the rules:

1. Only ONE vote per round, unless I say otherwise.

2. If you want a battle between character A and character B, PM ME PLEASE. Since I'm the host, only the battles I add are the ones we're voting for. I will take pretty much every request you have.

3. If you want to request a battle, you can use any form of media you want. you can do anime, tv, video games, comic books, actual books, real life, etc...If there's a person or character, feel free.

4. Do not flame or harass other users for voting for a character you don't want to win. (ex: I vote for Thor, but Nova votes for Link, and then I rant at him about how his vote sucks and that Thor is clearly better and what have you. That is NOT allowed.)

5. You can have discussions in this thread, but don't let it become a spam topic or chat thread.

6. Not every battle will be a fight. Pay attention to just what kind of battle it is! (ex: Who can run fastest/eat more/who's better looking/etc...")

7. Not every battle will be East vs West.




Vash the Stampede, otherwise known as "The Humanoid Typhoon", or "The Sixty Billion Double Dollar Man" is the protagonist of the manga and anime series Trigun. No matter where he goes or what he does, some kind of disaster will happen. He was blamed for sabotaging the spaceship that carried all of the Earth's population on Planet Gunsmoke, a barren desert planet with little greenery, little water, and two suns. Despite this, humanity has managed to make a life on the planet.

Vash is a pacifist in every sense of the word. He lives life under the principle of "Love and peace", and does not use his gun to harm another. If he does, he will go into a depression that will last for a very long time. He's a goofball, who has a certain affinity for doughnuts and will try to eat some whenever he can. He especially loves children also, and tries to make them happy. He almost always wears a smile, except when he's being serious because his friends are in some kind of danger, or when he's getting shot at by the people who want to claim the bounty on his head (although he still will be a bit of a nut while doing so). Despite being a pacifist at heart, Vash is extremely proficient with a gun. He is capable of (non lethally) taking out targets with his bullets, even if it means ricocheting bullets off of multiple surfaces before hitting his targets. He can scare his enemies (and civilians) off just by firing bullets into the air and shouting that Vash the Stampede is in the vicinity. His "Angel Arm" is a gun that looks like an arm. It is powerful enough to destroy a large and powerful enough to put a hole in the moon.

Revolver Ocelot is Solid Snake's rival. He is a master of interrogation and his gunslinging abilities have earned him the title of "ricochet genius". Quick to the draw, if you try to shoot him, he will shoot you first. He works for an organization that is behind everything that happens to the country, and even the president is a pawn of that organization. He works covertly for most of this missions, but has been known to work in plain sight. When he was not allied with some organization, he would pursue mercenary work. He only did this for 10 years.

Ocelot is of Russian descent. He often acts as a double or even triple agent, infiltrating whatever his superiors tell him to. He will even infiltrate Russian bases, but he doesn't like to kill them (even if he has to) because they're "his own kind".

He is also very cruel and sadistic; and it's hinted at that the reason why he loves guns so much is due to bullets embedding themselves into flesh, making the wounds hard to heal-if they could heal at all.

Vash because he can put a hole in the moon AND has dodged almost every bullet shot at him. I personally saw to it that Ocelot never dodged one.

ReDeads are zombie-like creatures that first appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. When Link approaches one of them, they will scream at him, effectively paralyzing him. Then will slowly saunter over to him and jump on his back and bite his head. When dispatched, they normally leave magic jars behind.

The Nurses from Silent Hill are manifestations (or mirrors) of one's fears and anxieties. They appear as deformed nurses, with bandages on their face, bloodied candy striper nurse uniforms, and bloodied bodies. Normally they carry knives, but they are not limited to them.

Freaking Re-Deads. Scariest freaking things on the planet.
There you are, minding your own business in Castle town when HOLY GOD A ZOMBIE SCREAMED AND NOW IS VIOLENTLY HUMPING ME!
So yah. And nurses are scary and stuff, but they still get scared when re-deads attach themselves to them. And suck three+ hearts outta you.
Now NECROMORPHS on the other hand....

Sokka is a warrior hailing from the southern Water Tribe. Since he has no bending powers, he relies on a club, a machete, his signature boomerang, and a sword made from a meteor (which he calls 'space sword') to do his fighting. While he may not seem like it at times, Sokka is smart and is good at devising plans, however those plans normally wind up failing at one point or another. He was the "logic and reason" guy of the group, constantly expressing his opinion on spirit magic (he doesn't believe in it), and always tries to find the logic in the situations he's in.

Even though he's a logic and reason guy, he's funny and outgoing. He's often cocky and thinks better of himself, although another character will show him up sometimes. However, he is very loyal to his friends and will do anything in his power to keep them from being harmed, and will try to help in any situation.

Kamina is the fierce, hot-blooded leader of the Gurren Brigade, and later on the Team Dai-Gurren. Normally coining the phrase "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!", he's a rough young man who loves a good fight. He takes pride in being manly, and likes to let it be knows that he is manly. the other characters think that he can be stupid at times, but he invented a method of fighting Beastmen (some of the antagonists of the series) that nobody else had thought of before-stealing the Beastmen's mechas and fighting them with it.

Before he took a mecha as his own, he would fight with a katana which he took from his village's chief. He likes to see pretty women, and that's actually a plot point in a hot springs episode. His signature traits are his loud, boisterous attitude, and his triangular glasses.
