Disney 3D Re-Releases

As you all know, Disney has begun re-releasing a number of its most famous and beloved movies in limited engagement 3D releases. They've already gave The Lion King (which grossed over $80 Million box office) and Beauty and The Beast the 3D treatment so far, but they plan on releasing the following in the coming months and into next year:

Finding Nemo 3D - September 14th, 2012

Monster's, Inc. 3D - January 18th, 2013

The Little Mermaid 3D - September 13th, 2013

The only thing about this that bugs me; Is Disney doing this just to save money needed to make brand-new material? Or, maybe they're just stalling to give them time to wow us with something amazing in the coming years? I'm hoping it's the second thing. I'm DEFINITELY gonna see Nemo, but I'd love to see The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe in 3D, that and Tarzan or Hercules. So, what do YOU guys think? Basically, Disney is just milking the 3D market until it's no longer special. They have always released old movies in the theaters. I believe that Snow White had the treatment 4 times.
I own most of them so the only ones I will put effort into seeing is either Huntchback (cause I love that movie) and Fantasia (the one I love but dont own)

Fantasia would be AWESOME!! With remastered sound and everything.

But yeah, Disney IS milking it a little too much. And Lion King was given, like, 3 or 4 re-releases as well.

Because everyone loves it. Truthfully, I think it's over hyped.

Well, Nemo was REALLY cool in 3D. I'm glad we got to go.

I'm wondering whether or not to go see Monsters though...
