Conrad Murray found GUILTY
Yesterday, it was reported that Dr. (And I use that term lightly) Conrad Murray, former personal doctor to Michael Jackson, was found guilty by a unanimous jury vote. The charge: Involuntary (ANOTHER term to be used lightly) Manslaughter. He has been stripped of his medical license could face up to 4 years in a State Prison, and the final hearing is scheduled for November 30th.
Finally, justice has been done.
Aaaaaand, since I can't Copy>Paste it...

Re: Conrad Murray found GUILTY
It was involuntary manslaughter, it wasn't this guys fault. He didn't murder Micheal Jackson, I'm pretty sure he was the one who requested the stuff in the first place...
thus the involuntary, which in court of law, is not taken lightly. He does deserve the prison time, but it's not like he stabbed him in the face....

Yeah, the guy's not a criminal. He just made a mistake...That cost someone else's life. It's not like he held Michael down and forced the pills in his mouth. Yes, he deserves some form of punishment, but not absolute hatred.
Re: Conrad Murray found GUILTY
Okay, okay, maybe I was a little too defensive about it, but I can explain myself. And it was actually through an IV Ezlo, not pills.
For those of you who don't know the whole story...
Michael had just gotten home from rehearsal around 2:00 AM. Michael told Murray to give him his Propofol, a sedative he had been using as a sleep-aid. Murray was trying to convince him otherwise, but Michael was on the defensive. So that night, Murray experimented with a few different medications, none of them working. So he gave up and gave Michael the Propofol, and Michael finally fell asleep, with Propofol PLUS 5 or 6 OTHER drugs in his system.
Now, we move to the following day, around 10:30-ish in the morning. Murray was monitoring Michael as he still slept. Then a little later, he LEFT HIM UNATTENDED to go to the bathroom, which you are NEVER supposed to do when monitoring someone under a heavy sedative.
When Murray returned a few minutes later, Michael's heart had stopped.
And WHAT did Murray do?
Did he detach Michael from the machines and call 911?
NO.
He called a few colleagues to come over and help him clean up the mess he made. HE TRIED SAVING HIS OWN ASS BEFORE SAVING MICHAEL'S LIFE.
They tried reviving him themselves, giving him CPR on his bed. HIS BED. THEY SHOULD HAVE PICKED HIM UP AND SET HIM ON THE FLOOR TO DO CPR. It needs to be done on a hard surface so the chest-pumps actually have an effect, NOT ON A SPRING MATTRESS WHERE ALL YOU'RE BASICALLY DOING IS BOUNCING HIM UP AND DOWN WITH NO EFFORT AT ALL.
Maybe a half-hour later, one of Murray's cronies FINALLY calls 911. The doctors do whatever they can, but Michael dies a little after 12:00 NOON that day.
Michael MIGHT have had a chance that day. But Murray was irresponsible with the situation. If he would have called 911 IMMEDIATELY instead of clearing his trail first, Michael MIGHT have had a chance of survival. But as long as he gets the punishment he truly deserves, justice is done.
Now, you can see where MY anger on the situation lies, as well as many others.

Re: Conrad Murray found GUILTY
I understand the feelings, but these kind of news, such as "MJ doc was found guilty" or "Casey Anthony found Not guilty" or "Steve Jobs has died" is not important [to a Zelda site] news. This is Hyrule Field, not Fox.
