Misty Peril: The Mirage Castle of The Lake Registration

After looking at the poll results before i left for my vacation back in mid august, the votes seemed to imply that a remake would be most likely workout, so I've spent every moment I could since then thinking over the possibilities, and how it'd work and stuff like that.

Anyway...



There were legends about a lake that was in the middle of seemingly nowhere in a remote desert-like area. The legends say that this lake is not only immensely large, and deep like a bay, but it also used to be a clear, and beautiful place where vegetation thrived, and a small town used to exist around it, but then the legends also state that there came to be a creature that was swift in the sky like a bird, but stealthy, and deadly like a shark in the water. It is said that this creature destroyed the town, and turned the once beautiful area into the misty and treacherous place it now is.

However, there was also a legend, that historians have had enough evidence to make fact. That there is a strange hole on the small island at the lake's center, and it takes whoever steps into it to the gates of an enormous castle. They have not explored said palace in fear of the creature appearing in the lake, or coming from the castle, so they dropped all exploration. They believe that by it, by it's appearance and location, may house many things. From extremely valuable, to worthless, and everything in between.

Though the people of the towns just before the desert-like terrain give heed to any who enter the desert since every treasure hunter that they've seen, have never returned. One man made it back with his life, but he himself had told the people that they were right. That the palace was indeed a reckless gamble at fame, fortune, or anything else of the sort. He spoke of ghosts haunting the place as if they were protecting something. Historians had heard this tale of the lucky hunter, and then they confirmed that the palace belonged to a mighty whitch that killed people and played with their souls for her own amusement. Weather the whitch still inhabits that palace is unknown.

Knowing these heeds you, a curious being, still set out for the lake despite everything you heard on the trip there.

Alias: Nebo Poe

Race: Claims Kitsune, but is really demon.

His dedication to his very bratty master is unquestionable despite all the circumstances, and is generally kind, yet nothing special to everyone else.

Biggest worry on the expedition:
His bratty master getting himself into too much trouble.

Appearance:
Ankle length white hair that's mostly kept up into a ponytail, Purple fox ears with white insides, black framed glasses with square lenses, yellow eyes, a slim torso and arms. Green arm bands, gold wristbands, a purple fox tail tipped in white that's fur is as thick as his torso is wide, a blue skirt that's length is only half-way down his thighs, but wears loose and baggy knee-length green shorts under them, and has golden tribal sandals.

Other details:
His eyes are really red, but his glasses make them look yellow.
The lenses on his glasses are always relaying information about the flow of time, but they cannot be seen unless you're wearing them.
His hammer's hammerhead is in the shape of a watering can that is still functional.
Both his hair and Skin is unrealistically soft, but his hair is more unrealistic.

Race: Shapeshifter pirate
Appearance:
Personality: He can be introverted at times, not wanting to speak. Most of the time he's in a good mood to speak, and is willing to be helpful and will pull his weight if asked to, even though he's only 4'6". He enjoys a hot meal and a good laugh. Like any other pirate, he's also obsessed with treasure. He gets very touchy when people question him about his earrings, as they belonged to his girlfriend, who was killed in a navy raid.
Biggest worry of the expedition: He's worried that he won't find any treasure to bring back to his aunt Jade Rachael.
And any other details about yourself you'd like to share: Austin is good at disguising himself, but because his earrings are real and he cannot make them change shape, he often gets spotted because of them when he's on stealth missions.

Gender: Androgynous, but appears to be a female. However, she is disguised as a male.

Personality: Ara is a very determined person. She will do everything in her power to make sure she gets the things that have to be done, done. She's not shy around anyone, however she will be quiet when the topic shifts to gender, as it's a touchy subject for her. She is nice and polite, even to Mason, even though she knows that she shouldn't be.
Biggest worry of the expedition: That Mason will get himself into trouble and she has to bail him out/That Mason will be a jerk to other people during the adventure/that Mason will try to abandon her somewhere during the adventure.
And any other details about yourself you'd like to share: Even though Ara is an alien, she has an uncanny weakness for human food.

Personality: Mason is incredibly rude, ill mannered, obnoxious, abusive (physically and verbally), and ignorant. Moreover, when someone threatens him, he'll hide behind Ara and tell her to do something about the threat.
Biggest worry of the expedition: That he won't find any treasure or women.

Name: Arséne Lu "Ace"
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Race: Hylian
Appearance: Hidden in a dark green cloak, he has very distinct facial features and a fairly dark complection with a little bit of scruff. Despite rarely removing his hood, the scar across his blind eye is quite clear. Easily the most down to earth guy among his group.
Personality: Honest to a fault, he'll never lie nor will he beat around the bush. He lets you know what's on his mind with out a second thought. A thief by nature, he'll do anything to get his hands on unprotected goods.
Biggest worry of the expedition: Not finding anything worth taking, and Nina getting hurt. A scratch on her is a huge dent in his pay check.
And any other details about yourself you'd like to share: His marksmen skills are unquestionable, but the only weapon he actually carries on him is his bow. Like all high ranking members of Castle Town's Theives Guild, he can use Rupees as a source of magic. Particularly 'Armament' magic, which allows him to turn rupees in crystline ammo.


Name: Ms. Nina Nori
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Race: Hylian
Appearance: Always wearing her favorite maid's outfit, its purple lace matches her hair and works well with her blue eyes. The biggest reason why she always wears it. With the smile of a kitten and a personality to match, she always seems to be happy about something.
Personality: Adorable and ditzy in a way that shouldn't be allowed to exist. The hidden truth is, she wasn't always like that. A dark past and cruel memories have forced her into a facadé she can't let go of. So now she lives the life of an airhead, but she seems to be happiest this way, showing no sign of regret in this decision. But don't be fooled, old habits die hard, and beneath that soft exterior is the soul of a rock hard fighter!
Biggest worry of the expedition: Failing her boss Mr. Arkainus Gatrie. Oh, and bugs, she hates bugs.
And any other details about yourself you'd like to share: A casual punch can take out walls, so it's best not to try and confront her in battle. Your better off making her cry and run away.


Name: Basilista "Basil"
Gender: Female
Age: 72, but appears 25 at best
Race: Hylian by birth, bartering with demons for power and immortality tends to take away bits and pieces of your humanity.
Appearance: Soft and sliky like her clothing. A perfectly pale complexion. Dark blue hair semi-long, going from straight into curls ending at the lower back. A long brimmed dark purple pointed hat, slightly crimpled and worn, with a red band around it and a backwards bend half way up. Eye like deep pools of crimson. She has a ruby jeweled pendent in the shape of a flower about her neck, hovering just abover her "collar line". A set of ruby jeweled earrings go along with this nicely. She adores lavender and as such covers herself in it. Her dress has an extremely lowcut collar, not evening touching her neck. Revealing most of her shoulders and upper...err...chest, which itself is quite sizable, something she loves to flaunt. The sleeves on the dress however are surprisingly long and large, usually concealing her hands which are almost always maintained with perfect claw like nails painted in a dark purple. From the chest to the hips the dress is wrapped in black silk lace. At the hips, the dress becomes less tight and more flowing. Covering down to her ankles, the left side has a slit where her bare leg can often be seen from. She rarely wears anything but strapped high heels so as to show off her painted nails.
Over top all this, she often has a black cloak with red silk on the inside and a large fur collar. Wearing this, as suggestive as her clothing tends to be underneath, few people question her appearance. Simply another crazy "upper class" citizen enjoying their wealth.
Personality: Sweet, quiet, kind, and beautiful. She's always so pale and slendor, almost sickly looking really. But always thinking about others first. She's distant somehow, never really here nor there. Her eyes seem heavy, like they've seen more death than a woman her age should. And she's always seems to be looking down or staring out into space. But she's always willing to go out of her way to help others.
Or is she? The thorns on this rose are tipped in poison, not that anyone who's crossed her are alive to tell you that. Just how she likes it.
Biggest worry of the expedition: She finds nothing. While she's not 100% sure what she's looking for, it would be terrible to have come all this way for nothing.
And any other details about yourself you'd like to share: She's a mystery in every way. This actually tends to attract men more than frieghten them away. She owns a rather popular potion shop in Hyrule Castle, it has oddly strict hours.

Personality:
He is calm, collected, serious and gets easily irritated by his younger brother. When he gets irritated, his eyes narrow into a kind of glare. He always has the "Meh, eff the world" personality. But he still can have fun when he feels like it. If his friends are in danger, he'll risk his own life to protect them. He is a big fan of the Paradise book series and always has one with him.

Biggest worry of the expedition: His brother, Jim, will get lost, get them in some kind of trouble, explode something, or get himself killed.

His left eye has a curse mark on it given to him by the demon, Zenaxen. He covers that eye with his hair because he wants no one to see it. He fights with an enchanted sword and normal throwing knives. One of his knives is enchanted. His perfectly toned body (and other things about him) makes him a target for women (and some men).

Jim is your "typical" cute dumbass. He likes to be destructive, and likes to have fun. He enjoys irritating Robert. When he is around people and food he gets really excited and hyper. He freaks out when something of his is taken from him. He can be calm when he feels like it (which is almost never) or when Robert orders him to (sometimes that doesn't work). If he sees someone he thinks is cool he'll hero-worship them and follow them around.

Biggest worry of the expedition: Not finding or running into anything cool

He loves explosives such as bombs. He fights with a sword but he mostly uses his bombs that he made himself. Some of his bombs have faces painted on them.

Lily is full of high spirits and optimistic. Whenever she comes across something she thinks is cute, she'll let out a sqeal of delight and ask the person she's with if she can keep it. She likes to give hugs. Since she has inhuman strength, one may get their bones broken if she hugs them too hard which is called her "death hug". She controls her strength whenever she's hugging something normaly. But they may feel a little discomfort if she continues to hug. People shorter than her tend to have their faces pressed into her breasts if she hugs them.

Biggest worry of the expedition: Getting separated from Eclipse

Fights with her staff and energy and dark magic. She is also a shapeshifter. Her favorite form is a wisp shaped as a fox.

She loves to eat and is easily excited when it comes to finding priceless items. She is always the first person to speak up and likes to speak her mind and can be rude. She is easily irritated and has anger problems. If someone enters her home/territory, first she'll warn them to leave, and if they don't she'll attack them. But she feels bad for the person she attacked later on if they have a good heart with no evil in it. She hates smoking with a burning passion of a thousand suns.
