Yep. Name says it all. I'm too lazy to go turn on my wii and find out my code right now, but I'll get there eventually. So yeah, exchange Friend codes, arrange matches, and discuss Smash Bros. as much as you want. Because, come on, who DOESN'T wanna beat the crap out of jigglypuff anyway?

Survey says Kirby has the same amount of jumps as Jigglypuff, and a much better Up-B that spikes.

Not in brawl no, but in Melee! You're talking rape material! Especially since Mango increased the metagame on her. If a new Melee tier list was made right now (which isn't going to happend for like another year!) She'd be second easy!

Still in brawl, who needs Jigs and Kirb when you got MK! The fact that he has so many jumps isn't even what makes him broken! Options, spacing, priority, Sakurai really put some strength into that one!

Lol, I don't main MK. I used to, but he's so cheap he's banned from tournaments so there's no point in maining him. I main Link, Toon Link, Ike, Marth, Pokemon Trainer, Lucas, Peach, and Ganondorf. I like to keep my mains well rounded.

I also don't play with items and only on FD. :U I also only 5 stock. I can't remember my FC at the moment. When I write it down again, I'll post it here.

Well, I don't have it , but when I play, It's Ike or Marth, 6 stock, all items. The stock can be changed, but I will only play all items. I'm just muletastic like that.
Why specifically is MK so good? (He's Mariodude's 3rd.)

I Just don't like items. They can turn the tide of battle way too quickly.

MK is good because he's fast. Because he's so fast, it's easy for him to dodge counterattacks (his down-b helps with that too) and a user can string attacks together absolutely no problem. And n00bs can do it too, which is pretty much why he's banned. It takes nothing to spam him.

Exactly! So when you're getting creamed by the n00b spamming Marth's Up-B, when suddenly a Bomb-omb Shows up, you throw it in his face ans the balance of power shifts. It means that a lowly Jigglypuff can kick the sorry butt of a Meta Knight! It makes the game more than stats!

Players that know what they're doing can easily counter the n00bs that spam Marth's up-b. Same with MK, but because he's so cheap, he got banned.Sonic is the exact same way.

I major in Link, Zelda, Toon Link, Samus, Pit, and basically everyone else

I mostly stick with Toon Link and Sheik. You know who's the most annoying in my opinion? Kirby. But mostly becuase that the people I play with float up and use the b down move...... gah It's so annoying.

That's easy to counter. Grab them when they land and then you can get the upper hand.

Kirby noobs are annoying. It's Kirby pros like me that are so awesome.

My suggestion for dealing with that is...well, you DO main two people who have long-range grabs. Fill in the blanks.

So I was in an Ike v Ike v Ike match today. There was lots of manly screaming coming from my television. :y

Sounds better than when i did a Super Sudden Death with Link, Link, Link, and Link. (Actually, that was Melee, but you can do the same in Brawl!)

I can't tell you how many times I've done that. But the Ikex3 match was over wifi, so I was playing with real people. Speaking of Ike and Link, I had the best match when I was more inexperienced. I had the game for about two months and then this happened.



I was Link, and I was against Ike and Marth, who were level 3. TL was level 3 as well.

That was SO COOL!!!!!!

They're all CPUs though, any one can set up for stuff like that against CPUs.

Any how, seeing as I haven't posted here in a while. I better update.

A. MK is only banned in SOME states, and for the bulk of the smash scene, is still legal.

B. MK is top tier not just because of his speed. He has tons of priority and options. Meaning, if you get Fsmash or in the middle of being comboed, there are usually 1 or 2 moves you can use to save yourself. Metaknight usually has 4 or 5! He's extremely versitile, very combo happy. And a pain to kill! (And don't get me started on planky metaknights!)

C. Tounry standard for Brawl is: 3 stock (4 in some states), no items, 8 minute timer (7 in some states), best 2 out of 3 rounds always starting on a neutral stage (This includes FD, BF, SM, and YI. With LC, PS1, CS, DP, and HB being considered as neutrals in some states and not others.)

D. The logic behind banning items is simple. You trained for days to master all of a certain character's techniques! You worked hard for the tourny, and you loose to a noob with a hammer. 'nough said.

E. If you want to make up crazy matches, boy do I have one! 3 people, 10 minutes, no items, Falcon only, jumbo size, sudden death, Hyrule Temple. And you're only allowed to use Falcon Punch, upB, overB, and the Knee! (FAir) HAVE FUN!

F. Oh, and ahh.... I know it's hard to except as Zelda fans, but I hope you all understand that bottom tier conists of Ganondorf, Link, and Zelda! They are the worst characters in the game! So I hope you practice a lot! Otherwise, you're not winning that match!

Toon Link's a bit higher-up, right?

Kirby going down so much made me sadface. So much. Green Greens not being a neutral/counter stage (probably because of the apples and bombs) made me sadface (Fountain of Dreams is AWESOME music).

Actually, I'm fairly good with Link and Toon Link. I agree that Zelda and Ganondorf are some of the worst characters in the game. I use tourny rules, but have never actually participated in one. I'd really like to someday though. :3

Tournies are amazing! They have all the energy of a con but with a competitive charge! But you have to be careful going in.

9 out 10 times, you are not NEAR as good as you like to think. And odds are you can and will get wreaked by everyone there. But if you go there already excepting your noobness. It's not that bad, and everytime after gets funner and funner. I guess it's a lot like sex in that sense!

No matter how bad you are at the game, just go! (Of course, we're talking about smash tournies! The energy and feel of competitive play differs from fighting game to fighting game.)

Dude, you'd best take back what you said about the Zelda characters. I pwned Meta Knight with Ganondorf, and he's the Crap Teir, as in, there's nobody beneath him. Link is one above him, and I destroy with him. And Zelda is Mid-Teir, so I don't know where you got that from.

And I have video proof that I destroyed Meta Knight with Ganondorf. B|
