Well, okay. I don't frequent a lot of forums. (not allowed to strictly speaking). I don't know what I was expecting the game to be but it certainly blew me away.
Well, they changed a lot from the Beta to what we got at launch. We were expecting lots of things that we didn't get, and that led to lots of disappointment, so Nintendo probably learned from that and is saying as little as they possibly can about Skyward Sword.

Ooh. That explains it, I didn't see the Beta.
It's a good thing you didn't. A lot of sweet stuff was removed from the game that you'd probably miss.

For example, You know how in TP, Armaghoma was fought in the Temple of Time, and she hung on the ceiling? Well, in the Beta, she chased you all over the Sacred Grove.

I see what you mean but I for one, don't think I'd want that chasing me all around.

Although there was a spider outside of my house that looked like a Skullita from TP, and I thought that was more cool than scary. I didn't get TOO close to it though.

Lawl, even I might get close for a look at that.

We didn't get any cool Zelda-esque spiders, just brown recluses, a Daddy Long-Legs here and there, and one big 'ol black one with yellow stripes that came crawling out of the sink right after I'd finished taking a shower.

-shivers- horrid memory. I kept the drain plugged after that.

Brown recluses scare the living s*Navi*t out of me, simply because of how poisonous they are.

An incredibly valid reason. I freaked out big time when we found it in the basement.
OH! I found a weird little brown one while I was doing the laundry a while ago. Folding clothes and there it comes crawling out of Mom's shirt. I thought we escaped them when we left Mascoutah!!!!
