Ocarina of Time Discussion

Whether it's shooting enemies while on Epona, the huge Hyrule field and spam killing those skeleton things, or just the thrill of the first boss, all Ocarina discussion goes here.

Ocarina of Time is my favorite game, it was the first one I ever played. (I HATE STALLCHILDREN, THEY SCARE ME)

I do more watching than playing though, can't get through the stupid Deku Tree. -sobs- And even when I do, I'll be too scared to fight Ghoma. This is pathetic!

And can I bring up the manga? It is Ocarina of Time after all. (Awesome books)

Not really. I keep getting scared of Dodongo's Cavern.

The Well and Shadow Temple scared me badly when I first played it. But that was when I first played it. Now the temple takes me the second least time to get in and get out of. (The Fire Temple is the quickest for me)

I hate the Fire Temple. Dx I always get nervous, and end up making Link fall 7 stories and land in lava. and then, I picture that happening to me, which makes it worse.

The Well's the quickest dungeon for me. Go in, unflood the place, go in the hole by the enterance, kill the Dead Hand, get Lens of Truth, leave, get other stuff later on.

Hahahaha, poor LZF. I don't really have room to talk though. I think I could manage to make it through the forest temple if I tried, but that's it. I hate those hands...they give me nightmares. Through my brothers, I've learned to hate the Water Temple. xD

I hate to say this, but I was 13 when I played OoT, and those Dead Hands scared me so bad, I went to bed with my lights on, and refused to enter any dark rooms. xDD

Pfff, like that's anything to be ashamed of. If you WEREN'T scared of those hands, well that's not normal.

For some reason I've never been really scared bad of anything from Zelda.... except redeads XD It was their moaning and twitching that got to me. And how they just layed there after they died.

I always manage to fall into the lava too. But because I've played OoT so many times, I don't take that long to beat it anymore.

Oh come on. The Well isn't even a temple. XD To tell you the truth, while I never 100% my Zelda games (or any of my games for that matter), I have never once completed the entire Well. I would drain the water and beat the Dead Hand and leave. It's a lot harder to do when you're blindfolded. :U

the way the redeads latch on to you and just don't let go...-shivers- I'd hate to see them in the re-released Ocarina of Time.

I wonder if they'll keep their attacks the same. Too many people have dirty minds, so they might change it to TP type redeads who have a weapon

HEAD-HUMPING IN THREEEEE-DEEEEE.

I played it the first time when I was 12. My grandma got it the year it came out and me, Papal and my uncle stayed up almost all night watching each other play it. My uncle made fun of me though becuase I was so scared of Gohoma that I had to turn the volume completely down to fight her and she still scared me. Then the first time having to face a redead, I cired.

Then they came out with the glorious Master Quest version and I refell in love. It challanges you, makes you think harder and requires you to do things you never would have to do in the first one. Like in the Gerudo training center, you actully have to use the lamp posts as hootshot targets where you can do it in the orginal, but never had too

OoT will personally always be my fav.

The only thing that remotely creeped me out in OoT were redeads and the great faries... am i the only one who thought that they made them 800000 times better in WW? They dont cackle anymore at least. Right now im on the Shadow Temple... (pathetic I know....) I need to beat that, just with skool now and all idk when its gonna get done...

I know.. its just annoying to have to start from the begging of the dungeon each time i try it agian...

Things like that aren't annoying until you play MM. When you have to beat the boss again to make it all happy.

Anyways, I love OoT!!!!!
It just has such a great epic feel that hardly any other Zelda games have.

So 64 was telling me. Did you know that there was originally a wind and ice temple to be put in Oot, but removed last min. That's why the water room in Ganon's tower is ice and there are wind turbines in the Forest temple room. Ganon's tower was the first dungeon completed and the shadow and forest temple were added last min.

Also the blond girl [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] is actully Mido's sister and was suppose to be the 'wind age' instead of the forest sage Saria.

I think that's why Fado is a kokiri but a wind sage. They probley took it from the orginal plans.

REALLY?!?! -falls over- I-I can't believe this!! Oooh, I can't wait until my sister comes home... (She just finished the seals in Ganon's castle.)

Again, my reality has been rocked.

Does that explain the yellow, white, and black tunics cheat on my ROM?
