I really did tell Nova I didn't want to Announce this, but...

I'm making an MMO.

I'm not sure how exactly it'll turn out just yet, the Xtremeworlds server is down right now.

But here is what I got so far with things:
Races:
-Hylian
-Kokiri
-Deku
-Goron
-Zora
-Sheikah
-Twili
-Gerudo

Regions:
-Hyrule
-The Twilight Realm
-Gerudo Valley
-Kokiri Forest
-Lost Woods

Starting Point: A paralell area believed to be where Heroes and villains are spawned.

Stuff to Know:
- Style: NES MMO
- Highest Level Possible: 200

Who's doing what?
So far, this project is between Nova, TheTinyImp, and Me.
Nova and Me- Mainly, setting it up, getting some help from people around the forum...
TP and Nova- All the imagination behind the MMO. He's helped come up with the starting Point, and designs for Races.

ok, so, Nova, TP, and I came up with a name for this MMO. I designed the logo, and got the "Awesome, LZF!" from Nova.


I personally think the "ZELDA" part is hard to read, but, so be it. I'm actually gonna try to make some promo art for this, and add some light that looks like droplets, like rain.

My idea for a final plot was this.

Ganondorf has been sealed once more into the realm of darkness, and it has not been long since the death of the Hero of Time's latest incarnation. Veran has returned, and she has summoned plenty of dark energy to attack the three main lands. (Brought in because Nova, TP, I realised these three can be easily linked together, and gives more adventuring space) The three will be Hyrule, Termina (Through the Lost Woods, and down into that abyss and through the big stone door, and if you're a Deku Scrub, reaching Termina would be fairly easy), and The Twilight Realm (I personally do not see this is being very cannon. The Mirror of Twili was shattered, but, because TP is a part of this, I wanted to add her fave race as a thank you: The Twili. Be happy.)

The Hero of Time is not around. (He normally reincarnates either every century or so, or right before GANON strikes) Therefore, no one can strike down the darkness with the blade of light. The only way to stop Veran would be if brave ones from the 5 main tribes of the three lands stepped forth, and searched for a single droplet of light to vanquish an entire area of darkness.

It'd be only a matter of time before Veran could extend her monarchy from horizon to horizon.




UPDATE ABOUT RACES
The Kokiri and Sheikah have been REMOVED from planning. The Kokiri cannot fight, and the sheikah have been considered extinct.

In the meantime, I'll be testring multiple MMORPG servers.

I'm going to have to work extra hard now. I'll come up with a way for the mirror to come back then.

I managed to get a friend from Gaia here to help us out.

The two servers that work the best are XtreemeWorlds, and Minixo. Most others are sad excuses that most would call trash. But yea, I suggested XW since I know mroe about that then Minixo. lol

I'm hoping we'll soon have a working server and client so we can start the in-game designing(aka: mapping).

A side note on Minixo is that I don't know if it's free or not.

I'm currently working on sprites for NPCs and stuff.

Hey, you guys don't mind if I use like... a ghost version of Link for when i moderate the MMO? I mean, he's dead in the MMO, but I can imagine his ghost roams the lands before he goes and enteres one chosen baby every 100 years or so.

You'll be paid 1,500 Rupees per track you make that we accept. Not a bad deal at all. I can't pay you by the hour: i do not know when you log in and off, and when you're working on a music track or not.

Requirements:
1. Try to shoot for 1:30 or more
2. Needs to sound Zelda-like
3. It can be a variation of a current song in OOT HYRULE FIELD, TERMINA, or the TWILIGHT REALM.
4. Send them via Pm to me or Nova AFTER we announce that the server problems have cleared up.
