Dark Skies Over Hyrule {Halloween Reboot!}

The Dark Flames lit in colors of Green and Blue. The witches chanted and taunted the land below. The ritual had been completed and now their Evil Lord would be freed from his imprisonment. Free to incite revenge on the land that so coldly refused his rule. To take bad the world that should have always been his!
Perhaps they had...over done it a bit. With such a powerful magic spell cast on the land there was always the chance of attracting, resurrecting, or breaking the seals of other evil forces. But surely none were more powerful than their Lord...right?
...right?




Indeed, the Dark Lord King of Thieves and all around bad guy Ganondorf did step out of his evil portal landing...somewhere in the middle of a forest. Eh, nothing new.

"Oh, fabulous. The portal I ordered from Evil Real Estate Inc. is here." Ghirahim said as he sifted through his mail. It was mostly little things, like the underworld newspaper, some bills, and some junk mail, but this time he had struck gold. He pulled the portal maker out of its packaging, and opened it up, not wasting any time with stepping inside.

There was a rush, and he finally appeared in Hyrule. "This is the land below in the future? Hm. Well, it shouldn't be TOO difficult to navigate, I suppose." He said, not knowing just how in over his head he was. After a few minutes of being completely lost, he snapped his fingers and a horde of Bokoblins appeared out of nowhere, all toting a different kind of weapon. "Go make yourself useful and find civilization. And if you do, destroy it. I'll find my own way." Ghirahim commanded, and they all were off.

"Whao whao now." A sorceress fell from the sky, landing in front of the mob of minions. "I can't have you destorying ever bit of civilization. If there is no one left to rule, my god would not be to happy about that." She said, leaning on her staff like it was a cane in the air. She stared at the man infront of her. "Your not from this world.." She hit one of the Bokoblins on the head with the end of her staff. "But your not from the Dark World either. She laughed slightly and leaned over, "You have a bad feeling around you. I like it. But your gonna have to be removed if you mess with my god's plans. Understood?"

The 4th of 4 stood over-looking at the sky grew dark by the minute. "Dark Link wondered off...where did you teleport us Vaati!? This isn't the light world.." He turned swiftly, glaring at his higher up. A forest stood around them. The sound of crows cawing was all that could be heard as the rest of life seemed to have gone silent. An open feild could be heard down one path of the forest, and the sound of a bell, a clocktower perhaps down another path. It rang 7 times.

Ghirahim looked up at the sorceress. His visible eye glared at her. "You have a lot of gall to tell me what I can and can't do. Gods? More like dogs if you ask me. I'm not someone who has much mercy, so if you value your life, you'll leave my horde and I alone." He spat. "However, I'm not here to conquer this place, if that's what you're fussing over. I have one objective and one objective only, and it's not to conquer anything. Your god or whatever should be happy to hear that." He added as an afterthought, before turning to leave.

Vaati laughed. “This IS the light world, Zink. Someone just redecorated the place.” He said before his smile dropped into a frown. “Or someone preformed a powerful ritual…”
He then took a look around their surroundings. “There seems to be a path leading to a field. …Hyrule Field, I know that smell anywhere.” He said, referring to the grass. “Well, no use just standing here. Let’s go.” He said before walking down the path.

Foot steps echoed lightly on the moist ground of the Dark Woods. The sun barely showed through the thick canopy. But only a little-- just enough to give hope for there is no true despair without a ray of hope. Out of preference, a tall figure lingered in the dark, leaning against an old tree. He held a black instrument-- an ocarina --to his lips and played a low tune. The melody bounced off the hiding monsters and searched for the nearest lost soul stuck in this labyrinth.
The man paused on a long note and drew the instrument away with a sigh. "I should be getting back now," he muttered grudgingly. The very thought of returning to Vaati and the others made this frown deepen. But Boss did order him to stay by them and he had to do so-- for the time being. Once the tables turn, Dark Link would wave 'au revoir' and save himself. Hearing the seven rings of a distant clock tower, the shadow kicked off the tree and blended into the shadows.
In the shadows, he could travel much faster, taking him (if he wanted) to his destination in a blink of an eye. Still, he lingered and took his time-- no need to be in a hurry now.

It has been a few hours since the mischievous little imp had stolen Majora's Mask from the Happy Mask Salesman. Now the evil powers that lie within that mask have slowly corrupted poor Skull Kid. He was now merely a puppet forced to commit whatever cruel deeds he was told, and has begun to bring down the moon upon the helpless people of Termina. He was having such a fun time being free and able to move out and about, and causing trouble to the citizens.

Skull Kid could be seen atop the Clock Tower, standing as still as a statue but occasionally turning his head around to look over the land and sky, then having it snap back into place and shake like a door stopper. His movements seemed very robotic and disturbing. As if he wasn't really alive.
He snickered sinisterly to himself.

"Tick tock, tick tock.
Atop the tower's clock.

Three suns pass.
The earth will meet with rock."

He let out a terrifying giggle that echoed throughout the air.
In three days the moon would rain down on the land. He would consume the life out of Termina. Consume the souls of those pathetic people that live here. Consume everything. It was perfect. Just perfect.

But...
Wait..
What's this?

The imp-like creature looked down from the tower to see... a portal?

"Well well..." he smirked, "Looks like another is having fun with the dark arts." He giggled again and jumped from the Clock Tower and slowly floated down to it. He seemed to be curious who or what was summoning such energy, and for what reason. He would love to disrupt, as he always was a troublemaker. "I wish to consume, I am hungry. But for now we shall see." He raised his hands in the air and the moon seemed to stop its slow but deadly descent. "Just what lies ahead."
With a flip and a flash, the corrupted Skull Kid entered the portal. A few minutes later, the evil imp arose into the world on the opposite end, Hyrule. Just a few yards behind where Ghirahim had landed.

"Hehehe... let's have some fun."

Geoffrey was getting a tad bit frustrated at the strong lack of well...anything in this land! For such a big kingdom, most of the people lived pretty sparsely with only a handful of actual towns or cities. He was lucky enough to find the portal that brought him to Hyrule, but how was he supposed to lay waste to anything if he didn't know where anything was?

Grumbling to himself he soon realized just how lost he had managed to get!
"Eh now, what's all this then? York! 'Enry! Get your lazy bums out 'ere for I make bone meal outa the both of ya's!" his thick accent was directed into empty space, and sure enough from empty space two Darknuts with noticeably less ornate armor appeared.
"What'sa matta' there Jeffy?"
"Aye Jeffy what be the matta?"
Their accents were even less understandable than their masters.
"This 'ere place is to many forms of confusing I tell you! Go find some one and bring 'em to me. We'll make 'em our eh...free of pay tour guides eh what?"

The three armored foes laughed for a bit in their funny accents before Geoffrey told them both to shut up and get looking. The three soon parted ways.

She appeared infront of the demon as he turned to leave, poking his chest with her finger. "You will not insult the dark king in front of me. He could wipe you without so much as lifting a finger. Your sleazy gathering of fly swatting creatures hold nothing compared to the majestic dark beings of the night the rule under his command!" The oni laughed and stepped back, holding her arms, staff firmly hanging by her side in a tight grip, throwing her ponytail back slightly, "Besides. That is the worst shade of silver hair I have ever seen. I think its time to return the thing on your head back into the wilderness" (thanks google x3)

"I'd like to meet whoever was powerful enough to change an entire landscape and take such a gift from him." The blond one said as he followed reluctantly behind Vaati. "Don't question Vaati. He knows more then you, more then you. More then your juicy little tiny brain could comprehend. Tiny Tiny Tiny Tiny.." "Shut up!" Zink said, hitting himself in the forehead a few times.

The corner of Ghirahim's mouth twitched. Did he just hear that woman right? "How dare you?!" He snarled. "You-you accursed dog! do you think that you can speak so lowly of me, Lord Ghirahim?" His hands balled into fists. "This is just typical of your kind! Show them even the tiniest shred of mercy or restraint, then they think them your equal or worse-above you! This is outraging me!" His red cloak started disintegrating into diamonds. Then he disappeared as well, appearing in the air, behind the woman. "Still, you have the type of audacity I haven't seen in a very long time." He said as he fell, his long tongue tracing the edges of her ear as he descended. He disappeared and reappeared in front of her, but on the ground this time. "Still, you insulted my hair, and for that, I will show no mercy." He snapped his fingers and a sword appeared in his hand. "The 'dark king' of which you speak would certainly pale in comparison to my master." He spat, as his tongue rolled over his lips tauntingly.

Tingle had been on his island, relaxing and enjoy his moderate wealth, when suddenly a portal appeared. Realizing immediately that business opportunities must lie in this alternate dimension, he hopped up and gathered his trusty employees.
"All right fellow fairies, this portal clearly leads to a new and amazing place, full of citizens with money!"
"How the bloody-" Said one of his business associates.
"Shut up Tim, no one asked you. Now follow me~"
He let out a strange yell, and leaped gracefully through the portal. His assistants, grumbling to each other as they did so, walked in after him.

Volvagia was sitting in his Temple, bored out of his mind. Gannon hadn't asked him to eat anybody in ages, and he'd just been sitting there in that volcanic pit with nothing to do. He decided he'd go see his bro, King Dodongo. He flew off to Death Mountain, receiving many screams from the townsfolk and Gorons.
"Sup Dodongo." He said, entering his chamber. "Done anything interesting as of late?"

“…Having a moment with yourself?” Vaati asked as he watched Zink hit himself. “You really need to—oh, we’re here already. And it looks like we have company.” He said, pointing to Ghirahim and a strange woman.

“…The hell is going on? Are they about to fight or are trying to seduce each other?” He added, trying not to stare at the long toungue.

"You know Majora talks through me." Zink frowned, and then turned staring at the woman, his blue eyes widened slightly, "She looks like the Feirce warrior that keeps standing in our way! damn for not bringing his mask with me."

"Don't you DARE compare me to these sun dancing fools! I am BETTER then them! AND I will wipe them all out! Even if it means taking down puppies like you! Besides, Mercy is for the weak, and that's what gets you stabbed in the back." She said, holding out her staff and blasting away the tiny army of evil that the demon lord had once summoned, now gone with just a burnt pile of ash. She noticed the meschivious imp standing in a ways and the couple of seemingly children standing by. "My my, seems we have drawn some company."

(After thinking, and being late, I decided to give him details that I came up with. I love how I sound so freaking serious and no one else does. XDD)

423 days of darkness. alone, Link's long forgotten duplicate stood eerily still upon a switch in the dark depths of Stone Tower Temple, where the Hero of Time had left it so long ago. Dust and cobwebs and decay had taken a toll on the grotesque parody made of stone. Unlike usual, the eyes were closed and so was its mouth. As the last ray left the temple, its eyes opened, but never shone. It had been a year, over a year, since they had been opened. As if it were a computer, it began to compute algorithms and scans, trying to find the Hero of Time, but to no avail. Who would it play with now? There was NPCs, but they were no fun. He could do what he did before the Hero left him: Travel through cyberspace and space itself. To do so, he needed power and had to be on the stand at all times during travel. There was still leftover power from that time 423 days ago.

The moon shone down on the statue known as BEN, and the moon is what kept it, or him rather, in power. He inched the pedestal forward and into the rift. He traveled, searching for toys to play with. BEN was able to detect Skull Kid and decided to go play with him.

He found himself in the sky, which quickly dropped him. He could have screamed, but there was no voice clip he wanted to use. He landed stand-first on Ghirahim in an unfabulous manner, knocking both of them to the ground. Since he had plenty of power, he could move by himself. (It'd be boring if he didn't.) In absolutely no pain, He rolled both himself and his pedestal off of Ghirahim and jumped back up onto his feet.

"I found you, Skullkid."

Ghirahim was just about to attack the woman standing before him, when something hard and heavy landed on him. He fell over, face first into the dirt. When the heavy object was off of him, he stood, and instantly went to wipe the dirt off of his clothing, no longer concerned with anything else. Once his clothes were sufficiently dusted, he took a look around him. There was a crowd now, but his target wasn't in sight. He sighed. "UNFABULOUS, ALL OF YOU!" He bellowed. It was clear that his patience was wearing thin. "If you wish to make a mockery of me any further, you will have to taste the steel of my blade!"

As Ghirahim was ranting, someone was watching from the shadows. As she watched the scene unfold, a sly smile came across her face. She wondered what kind of hell she could raise. She flicked her finger, and small orbs of dark magic started falling from the sky.

"Come on deary, where is your sense of humor." She laughed, sitting atop of the flat end of her staff as it balanced on the pointed tip on the ground. She glared at the statue, grabbing it and lifting it up. "YOU! You look like that annoying brat of Zelda's! If you don't tell me who you are or where they are, Im gonna turn you into hairclips to do something about this demon's unfabulous hair!" her hatred for the royal family born since of birth. Getting to have this beautiful sun in a prosperous kingdom. She hated it.

The Skull Kid merely folded his arms and just floated in the air as he giggled, watching every move they made. It seemed that the eyes on the mask was watching everyone, no matter where they were or if they moved around, they were always watching. Oh how amusing this was to watch.

"Well hello BEN." he tilted his head in the direction of the statue, but still keeping an eye on the Demon Lord and the woman. "There are others here. Heheheheh!!"

His body disappeared with the mask only visible. It floated towards the two then just floated there in front of them. "Aw why so upset? That's no fun!" Skull Kid reappeared and the mask began to change color and shake violently. "You shouldn't be so serious!!!"
Instantly there was an aura around the imp that seemed to engulf furious, outraged, sick with arger Ghirahim and the woman whos arger was very annoyed, then a bright flash seemed to blind them for a moment. Then as everything settled down, the two were... no longer there...

At least how they usually were.
They've been turned into Dekus!

Skull Kid let out that playful yet eery giggle as he saw his work, and twirled into the air and slowly drifted down by BEN, head tilting around like an owl as he eyed the two. "Are there more of you? Do tell me there is. I would love to play with them too!"

His eyes grew large, larger than usual. "Don't you dare compare me to that insignificant fool. I'm not Link." However he returned to the ground when the two were Deku-fied.

BEN shrugged as SkullKid approached. "I don't know," he replied, "I just got here." He chortled at the two little plants.

Ghirahim looked at himself after the transformation. "...Wood? What did you do to me?" He cried, his voice high and shrill and warble-y.

"Isn't it obvious? you're a deku scrub now." The woman from before said, coming out of the shadows. She wore all black with no symbol on her outfit anywhere. Her skin was tanned and her hair white, covering one of her red eyes. Ghirahim looked at his body once more. then he screamed an ear-shattering scream, and ran off.

"THIS ISN'T fabulousssss~" He cried as he ran, his voice getting softer and softer as he got farther away.

Sona was more interested in this talking statue then her new appearance. "So you have a hatred for the royal family as well. Although, I was not talking about her husband. Perhaps we hav..." She pushed the skullkid aside as he had skipped over in her way. "Move! You tell me, where is the royal family hiding?! You know of who I speak of, you must know of whereabouts!" No longer caring to fiddle with her fellow silver haired freak.

Zink looked up at Vaati, "Now I believe you. We must be in some dimension separate from the light and dark world...perhaps, even in a different time. The past? The future? Maybe it's the present time but a screwed universe from the original time frame that some action has caused it to be completely changed. However, I do know that that is Majora's Mask, who the person behind it is I know not, but we know where the mask normally is, therefor, this can not be our world."

“It is rather odd.” Vaati said. “It’s almost as if something or someone wants people like us to be in one place.” He put his hand to his chin as he watched the odd scene unfold. A smile formed on his face at the sight of the deku scrubs. “’This isn’t fabulous’?” He said, before he bursted into laughter. “Ahahahahahaha! I didn’t know that we would run into a show.”

After his laughter died down and he regained his composure he waved his hand in the air and a black eyeball creature with wings appeared in front of him. “Go get the little deku scrub that just ran off.”

With a nod the creature flew off in Ghirahim’s direction.

“And now it’s time to greet the new comer.” Vaati said before heturned around to the woman in black. “Hmm…a Sheikah huh? I can tell from your features. Are you here to run to the royal family and ruin our plans?”

"What what now? Oi, Jeffy! Get a look at this gaggle a sad sacks!" the thick accented voice came from Henry the minion. And in seconds his fellow minion and their boss Geoffrey the Mid-Boss was on the scene.

Geoffrey paused a moment and sized up the group of villains.
"Eh what? You stupid tin kettle. These folks are clearly upstanding members of the evil boss community, if they were any bit self-respecting villains they wouldn't help us find cas'le town! Though I gotta ask, what's with the 'igh concentration of darkness going on 'ere? This one of those leagues of evil things eh what?"

"Ah, leave that deku alone. In his current state, he's not a threat to anyone." the Sheikah said. "Yes, I am a Sheikah. you may call me 'Seeker'. However, you are wrong about me wanting to help the royal family. I'm here to have a little fun!" she said, before she shot her arm backwards, in the direction of the bat with the eye that Vaati had sent out. A chain made out of dark magic materialized and flew from her sleeve and it wrapped around the creature, before the chain retracted, pulling it back. she looked it right in its eye and flipped her hair up, to reveal her eye.

It was stitched up tight, and there was a Sheikah Eye symbol that was branded on her skin. It was a deep groove, that looked like it could fill up with something. Instantly, the creature started struggling as if to get away, if it sensed something. "That's a good monster. It can tell that I don't play around. Listen up, all of you! I'm here to throw all of you into misery and chaos! If you oppose me, you are my enemy. If you join me, I will spare you. you don't want to know what I can do with my sewn up eye!" She barked.

The imp only twisted and turned his head as he watched Sona, a little irritated that she showed no fear by her physical change, but also a bitinterested too. But then spun around as he got shoved.

"Hehheheheh woohoo!" he shouted as he was flew around back to his statue friend. "Why oh why should we tell you? You should try finding them yourself. Clearly we are not tour guides of this miserable little world." Skull Kid turned his head around like an owl to BEN and whispered to him, "She will surely pester us, she does not believe us. We could lead her in the wrong direction just for fun, ehehe!"

Oh how amused he was with all of this. It was like a child in a candy store. He even became more excited when he saw there WERE others too! And they weren't just any poor, helpless little townspeople back in Clock Tower. He thought to himself just how much fun this would all be. A few giggles left his throat when he heard Seeker state her business. Chaos and misery would be like an amazing movie to see! Surely this would be extremely wonderful with all of these villains here, searching and tearing each other apart for power and control. He turned back to face the growing group, floated by BEN, that hideous mask's eyes right on the wondering group over yonder.

A smirk came across his face under the mask. Telepathically, the entity spoke to his statue friend. "We should only sit back and watch as they fought amongst themselves, then later on we shall strike. They won't see it coming... what do you think BEN?"

He giggled at the idea. All for the idea, he replied with telepathy of his own. He turned towards Lanayru Province.


"That way will lead you to the Royal Family," He began. "It's a long trip, but you'll find it."
