Okay to live together?

In a class recently, we were told to "plan" what we'd do for college as seriously as possible. Two of my friends (who're girls) and I were talking, and we figured that it'd be easy, and inexpensive, if the three of us shared an apartment instead of going to dorms. We told the teacher our plan, and he didn't approve, even after we outlined the financial advantages.



So here's my question: Would you think it's weird if two girls and one guy (who're only friends and would never "do anything") lived together in college?

I see no problem whatsoever. It's your guys decision. Seriously, I don't see what's to worry about it the first place.

I guess my teacher's just a prude.

Are they old? Old people tend to think that if young people look at each other, they start having the sex. So living together would be a no no in their books.
