I hate the new pokemon games. Is it just me, or are they starting to run out of ideas? If you ask me, 2nd gen is where it's at. 3rd gen is close behind for me. 4th gen...eh mediocre.

I can totally agree that 2nd generation's where it's at.

Of course you all DO understand, this exact thing happened at the prerelease era of the fourth gen.

But y'know what? People eventually got over it, and it'll happen in this generation. And, some of the Pokemon of this generation look pretty damn cool.

And I don't like using the Japanese names.

I love the Japanese names. Though I often use the English names out of forcive habit.

...That is, except for Garmeiru (Mothim) and Mitsuhone (or something to that nature, it's one of the Sinnoh bees). I didn't even know Mothim's English name until I got the card of it, lulz.

I just grew up with the English and am sticking with it. I know Ash is Satoshi and May is Haruka and Misty is Kasumi and that's about it. Much easier to remember the English.

Eh, fair enough, I guess. Stick with whatever's best.

I was incredibly surprised when I saw what Ash's new design about a week ago on Serebii. Looked...disgusting. Reminds me of when they tried to redo Klonoa.

Makes me glad I don't watch the anime.

Would anyone like to see an Episode were ash is defeated? when I saw the Japan Release of the episode, I never let out so many Fanboy squeals...

Doesn't he lose in the Pokemon Tournament the first time in Kanto? And that friend of his (who incidentally now own's Ash's old Butterfree) won their fight.

Ive seen him lose several times before... its not a new thing. And the whole eye spheel
doesnt make a difference one way or the other, they're just trying to improve the animation and make it look more modern.

Anyway, i always name my rivals funny things.... Most recently on my SS, Failure.
Its pretty funny when a guy named failure's like "Im gonna totally beat you." And when i own him hes like "Whatever ill beat you next time!" Makes it more entertaining.
