Skyward Sword Release date!

Nintendo revealed the official release date for Skyward Sword today. Expect it out November 20th!



You know, it's interesting to think that the Wii pretty much started and ended with Zelda. Twilight Princess was a launch title, and Skyward Sword is a closing title. It seems fitting that one of Nintendo's biggest franchise do the honors.

Nintendo is actually offering a redesign of the Wii, much smaller and lays on the ground instead of stands up. It's not GC BC though, so you can't play Gamecube games on it.

That being said, I can't wait for Skyward Sword. Golden Wiimote, here I come. B|

The Golden Wiimote is being released next year with the non-GC BC Wii and the Zelda Anniversury collection.

I thought the non GC BC Wii was only being released in Europe?

I will never buy it. For I love my gamecube games much too much.

there are two versions of Skyward Sword being released. One will be bundled with the golden Wiimote.

Skip the cheesecake part for me, but the first part, yes.

Never said I'd buy it! Just stating the facts.

The new Wii model is only going to be released in Europe so...No non-GC compatible temptations for us!

If they remove the GC function from the wii, then what's the point? It happened with the PS3's newer models, since they can't play PS2 games now (I still have my old PS2 that my brother gave me, since he doesn't use it anymore) But anyways....



I'd think I'd like to rent before I buy, so I don't dissapoint myself.
