Favorite Mario Game?

Hence the title.


I have to go with Super Mario Galaxey, or the second vertion of it.

Three words: Super. Mario. World.

I personally like Mario 64. Didn't care for Mario Sunshine because of the whole spray nozzle ordeal

Does Luigi's mansion count as a mario game cause I love playing that.

I think it would.

Mario Cart could be better.

Luigi's Mansion was... really great. Not the best game, but really good.

It has Mario in it, so yea, it does count.

Super Mario All-Stars+Super Mario World for me. It may not be a game, but it has Mario on the title screen. So it counts. =P

I love ghosts so I love that game! (even though I don't think ghosts should be disturbed if they are harmless) (oh great, don't get me started on this stuff)

SMG is good too.

Luigi's Mansion=Too short.
Sunshine=Too wacky, yet too boring.
Mario Kart=-.- It's a sport Mario game...

For me, IMO,

Super Mario Bros. 3
Super Mario World
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario 64
Super Mario Galaxy

My Favorite one Is Luigi's Mainson! I am a HUGE LUIGI fan! I'd not go as far to cosplay him, but, I might, it is such originality for a game for Luigi! hm...but Mario Kart and Mario super strikers are cool too, still play Super Mario bros, and I know the cheat to play as Luigi in New Super Mario bros.

I agree with Espe. You cant get better than some good old fashion Super Mario World.
Galaxy and Galaxy 2 are in second, and 64 and Sunshine tie in 3rd. I really liked Sunshine and thought the way they did it was really good.

Mario and Lugi Super Saga was awsome too because you can play both of them!

Yeah, I've heard of it. I'd just rather play Paper Mario, which I have.

Oh, hell. Legend of the Seven Stars was AMAZING. Good story, decent difficulty, great gameplay, really addictive. SNES masterpiece.

Actually, I love all of the Mario RPG games, the only one I haven't played being Superstar Saga.

I love the graphics in Paper Mario. The way its all paper but so sorta yeah. Its awsome

I hate Super Paper Mario, I always get stuck at the part were you pay off the debt of something you broke.

I only played the gamecube and N64 version and personally the ealier one was better I think

Uh...you have to get enough rubies (or look on GameFAQs) for the password to the VIP Room. Some guy (possibly in 3D-mode) will tell you the pass for...IIRC, 100 or so. Then, get enough rubies there (1,000?) and pay a guy (possibly in 3D-mode) to tell you the code for the vault. Then, in the east side of one floor, 3D-mode (or west. Somewhere secret-ish, just look around), you'll find a Pixl named Slim. Afterward, go to the west (3D-mode) on the second(?) floor, go up, equip Slim, and when a barrier of electricity comes by you, stay still while slimmed. Then, keep running. Put the code in the vault there, then go back, and you'll have paid off your debt.

Sorry for all the question mark areas, haven't played in a while, and it's all from memory.

My favorite Mario game is probably gonna have to be New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Am I the only one who thinks Mario is at his greatest in the 2-D platforming games? (Paper Mario doesn't count.)
