Casey Anthony found "Not Guilty"

So, I don't know how many of you here have been following this trial, but Casey Anthony, mother of little Caylee Anthony, was accused of murdering her daughter. The trial pretty much went on for 3 years, and today, after 10 hours of deliberation, the jury handed her a "not guilty" verdict.

Now, most people are outraged because pretty much everyone knows that she did it, but the prosecution was unable to get a solid defense, so the jury ruled in her favor.

I, for one, am mad that this descision was made, but at least she's getting thrown in jail for lying to the detectives and everything. She spends at least 3 months in jail for that.

I'm also mad and appalled that she got the not guilty verdict. I just can't believe that lying messed up b*Navi*h who threw her own parents under the bus and told lies about them and lied to everyone is getting away with this. She'd better watch her back when she gets out of jail.

I'm pretty mixed. I'm very against the death penalty (for anyone, regardless of their crime) so I'm glad there wasn't another death in the world. But obviously, she's a liar and a cheat so...

She'll have the worst life ever after prison, that is if someone doesn't kill her first... she's relatively hated across the country by now...

If she WERE to get the death penalty, I'd love to be the guy to set the date. How about 1 am on the day they set clocks forward?

"Well, it looks like you got one more hour, Anthony- Whoops, spring forward, byotch!!"

Well she could always move to Canada.

I'm pretty sure she'd be hated there too. Also, I didn't want her to get the death penalty. I wanted her to suffer and rot in prison and face the wrath of her inmates because no one likes a child killer!!!!!!

Exactly why I'm against the death penalty! Then it's like they're getting out of punishment.

I heard one of the jurors speak and by far, they were not intelligent enough to even be in court.

Here are some things one said:

"Not guilty does not mean innocent."
"It may look bad and smell bad, and seem bad, but is it bad?"
"We had no evidence."


1. There was the body of Calee inside her trunk.
2. They found google searches of "Chloroform", "neck breakage", and other things of the liking.
3. There was duct tape with Casey's fingerprints on the body's mouth.
4. She waited 31 days to report Calee missing.
5. She partied while her daughter died.
6. There was little to no evidence on the defense's side that prived her innocent.
7. She's a F@#$ killer. eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.
8. If it were any more obvious, it'd punch us all in the face.

Justice has been served, even if it's not in the name of her daughter. Casey will be spending 4 years in prison.

Not to burst you bubble (again) but she's actually spending only six more days in prison. The Judge and other attornies and people added the days she served in prions during the trial and her good behaivor in prison and they put down that she'll get out six days from now. That's what they said on HLN and I watched it all day today.

I swear there is no justice in the world anymore and people are getting dumber to see what's right in their faces in a murder trial.

Lying and providing false information to the police got her in trouble too. The trial has finally concluded while the verdict was made by the jury on July 5, 2011. She was found guilty of lying and providing false information to the police while innocent of all other charges. There have been a lot of reactions. Some have been positive and some have been negative. Some people have been angry that she is going to be released from prison thinking she committed the murder. Others are happy that she is released feeling like there wasn’t enough evidence to suggest she actually did anything wrong. Even though she is being released, she won’t be off the hook completely. She will still need a payday loan to pay for prison time.

I can sooo tell people are gonna go after her if they see her in a dark alley. Too bad Edgeworth wasn't the prosecutor.

Casey is going to get shot one day, and so will her lawyers. I can't say who, because I won't be that someone. I would LOVE to F@#$ nuke the jury, though.

Her attorneys are planning on doing something to protect her until things simmer down. And I hope that the jury's names are NOT released to the public. To me, this is saying, “Hey raged people! You can come and get me now that you know my name!” Who's idea was it to release their names anyway? That's like taking a defenseless person and throwing them in a cage full of feral and hungry lions. I know that their names haven't been released but still. The juror's names weren't released in a big trial like this before, so they shouldn't be released now.


By the way, the date of Casey's release from prison has been changed to next Sunday.

Hey don't hate the jury. They're supposed to vote not guilty if there's a reasonable doubt in their mind. Obviously there was some kind of lack of evidence or hole in a story that made them doubt.

Actually, a few said it's because if they said "Guilty", then someone would die.

Wait, are you saying that the jury knew that she's guilty all along and didn't have the heart to say guiltly just because she'll get the death sentence?
If she got the death sentence then there would a verdict it would take a few weeks to get and answer and there may have been a possibility that she may not get the death sentence.
