Wii : Will U Buy?

Well I'm curious to see what people's opinions are on the mysterious Wii U. My opinion is that Nintendo's pushing change a little too much. Not buying, I'm gonna go for a PS3, because I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I will definitely be buying. And also, the new PS4 is rumored to launch in 1214. So, two years. Just thought I'd let you know.

Nah, jk obvislehy. I will get teh Wii U definately, but its gonna be hell raising up the cash. >_<

I wish i could get it, but i'll need a GOOD job first... and work my ass off...ToT

I don't care if the Playstation 4 launches. At least it has the regular two-analog-sticks-and-buttons layout. I just don't think I'm liking the change that Nintendo's pushing.

If you look at the Wii U controller, it HAS that layout, only there's a giant touchscreen in the middle of the controller. And I've heard that you can remove it, but I'm not too sure if you can or not.

And I think that it's really interesting. Nintendo was not the first company to install a screen in the controller (SEGA's Dreamcast was the first one to do it), but now technology has advanced to a point where I think it won't be a colossal failure.

1. PS3 is lame, unless they really step it up with PS4 I'll just be disappointed.
2. The touch screen is not the primary controller of the WiiU, it's just one you can use. I suspect that many games will still use the wii controller that looks like a wii controller, but has wii motion plus built in.

There's only a slight chance that I'll buy it based on two things.
1. My family is going through a lot of financial issues, and I have no paying job (I volunteer at the zoo)
2. My parents absolutely loathe video games. The last game they allowed me to buy was TP. Three years ago. -_- new consoles/controllers? Four years.
3. Also I'm still not sure if i'm even that interested in the WiiU. The touch screen looks cool, but with two very destructive little siblings I don't think it will survive very long.
(I guess there was three reasons instead of just two...)

I will definatly buy it.

I would only get it for the drawing tool, but right now I can't even afford a used GameCube from EB GAMES, so...
